After driving what my wife calls my male menopause car because I purchased it right before I retired … A 2001 Red Mitsubishi Eclipse Sports car, which I/we drove for many wonderful miles, At almost 76, It because I purchased it right before I retired … A 2001 Red Mitsubishi Eclipse Sports car, which I/we drove for many wonderful miles, At almost 76, It was time to move on, Don Edwards, who has become a friend over the years, facilitated a trade-in of this beloved car for a Buick encore. We wanted a car with a few miles Thereby saving us some upfront cost for a second car. Our original selection was great with 22,000 miles on it and in perfect condition. Don however, was aware of another envoy that had come in with only 5000 miles on it and a turbo. It was a lot more car and we were very Appreciative! After a lovely lunch at Opa, we bid Don a Fond ado and headed for Home driving our all but new vehicle. Thanks Don for your caring and consideration, Couldn't get a better second car! First I’d like to say I do like the vehicle I purchased. The reason for only two stars is that it wasn’t until after all the paperwork was signed and I turned over my trade in keys that i was informed my ve The reason for only two stars is that it wasn’t until after all the paperwork was signed and I turned over my trade in keys that i was informed my vehicle only had 1 key. A new one is about $300. I know that there was a deduction for that when it came in as a trade. Yet the cost got passed on to me. That’s xx! The one key Fob I was given was caked with dried food on the inside. There appears to be No attention to detail. For the amount I paid for this vehicle I shouldn’t have to buy a spare key. The gas mileage is about 1/2 what I was told it was. I was also told the gas tank would be topped off, but it wasn’t. It was just above 1/2. So for those reasons I’m not sure I would recommend. More
