Buyer Beware! I went to the dealership to see a truck because the price seemed fair and their radio ad stated that they would give you $5,000 on top of what my trad I went to the dealership to see a truck because the price seemed fair and their radio ad stated that they would give you $5,000 on top of what my trade was worth. Before I went to the dealership though, I called the dealership and spoke to Russell and asked if the radio ads were true and to make sure that I was not missing a catch. I specifically said to Russell, so if my trade is worth $1500, then you will give me $6500 ($5,000 + $1,500)? Russell responded with "Yes." When answering that question, Russell knew I was looking to purchase a used truck. With that knowledge I scheduled a test drive. After the test drive when it came time to discuss price, Russell then changed his story and told me that the fine print stated that special of "$5,000 on top of what your trade was worth" was for new car purchases only. I asked Russell why he lied to me on the phone and he stated: due to restrictions with their marketing ads, he was not allowed to tell me. Russell never once apologized for any misrepresentation on his part or the dealership's part. With that, I left the dealership. Buyer beware! They will tell you anything to get you in the door and have no remorse for inconveniencing consumers. More
