Extremely sexist experience with this salesman. My girlfriend and I who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community went in for a lease, we’d shopped around a bit and had gotten plenty of quotes from other Sub girlfriend and I who are a part of the LGBTQ+ community went in for a lease, we’d shopped around a bit and had gotten plenty of quotes from other Subaru dealerships. I knew exactly which vehicle I wanted and they quoted us $100 over monthly payment than any other location. I mentioned how low we got it at multiple other locations so they dropped it about $10 dollars🙃 There’s a reason they have so many subarus and cars on the lot. When I mentioned if we could get a better deal if we weren’t two young women, he immediately shot up from his desk, ran to his managers office and started screaming “GET THE F*** OUTTA HERE” amongst other very strong worded expletives that were directed towards us. My girlfriend and I were so scared that we ran out of the dealership with no car, and with having had a terrible experience with DEAN. I have left 5 star reviews for other dealerships that we haven’t purchased from simply because of their friendliness and ability to communicate as a sales person. I did not feel safe or welcome as a lesbian or as a woman at RAFFERTY SUBARU. Dean is has clearly had an issue with women in this business before, if it only took one comment about not wanting to be women getting swindled for him to curse at his customers. Take your business elsewhere, find a better deal at ANY Subaru in the tri-state area. More
