I was told to drop my car off the night before for a recall and they it had to be left at the dealer all day. After I dropped it off my dash cam showed my car being moved around the lot at 1:30am. I was told it would be in first thing in the morning. I called at 4:00pm and no answer when I was transferred over to my service advisor Lisa. I left a message and no return call. I called again at 5:20pm and again got put on hold for 10mins then sent to the parts department voicemail. Called back right away since service closes at 5:30pm. The lady I talked to this time was very helpful and went out of her way to find out what was going on. Apparently I was called earlier in the day and was left a voicemail that the car was done. I had asked to to lock the keys in the car and I would be up to get it. I received no phone call or voicemail. I know the recall only takes an hour to do. Why it took all day to do it is beyond me. My dash cam says my car wasn’t brought in until 2:40pm so it wasn’t in first thing like I was told. I also left instructions on my seat because I have a ewg dump out my hood and I had a cap on it to keep water out. I asked for it to be removed before it was started and it was but it was removed at 1:30am when the car was being moved around the lot and never put back on. Luckily the weather people were wrong and it didn’t rain. More
This dealership saved me days of frustration and parking fees! My car broke down in NYC so I called local dealerships to have it town and fixed. They were all “too busy” to deal with me! Yes great fast service. I wish social distancing was better practiced and controlled around 5:15 pm last night. If you can't go somewhere else, be SURE you don't deal with Brad Dickerson. Detailed review: I did everything to make sure I could have a super-quick buying experience. They kept me waiting at every stage of the purchase and then said the car wasn't ready and to come back tomorrow. When I did -- after repeatedly contacting them to say that I needed to get in and out quickly -- THE CAR WASN'T READY. I got lots of worthless apologies, but in the end I paid for a car on Monday, made two trips to the dealership, and finally RECEIVED the car on Friday. The frustration and annoyance was actually the least of the damage done, and even after three of Brad's bosses had spoken with me, he doesn't seem to have understood why lying to the customer is a problem. UPDATE: Update to my previous review -- the sales center is quick to post a generic "oh sorry it wasn't a good experience, get in touch with us" auto-reply to a bad review. So I told my story to the FOURTH employee at Rafferty, who wrote back to tell me that he'd spoken to the salesperson and, essentially, I should settle down. After all, the salesman offered me a loaner car 26 hours and two trips to the dealership after I paid for a car -- and a WEEK after I paid for the car, they finally brought it to me. But because the sales manager could kind of tell I'm still upset by the consumer fraud, rudeness, and incompetent service center, he offered me a complementary [sic] oil change. If I could give Rafferty negative stars, I would. More
