I only drove 12 miles in the loaner vehicle and when I arrived was told by a tech that I needed to get gas "because they are sticklers here. If it was up to me I'd say it was fine". I drove over 2 miles d arrived was told by a tech that I needed to get gas "because they are sticklers here. If it was up to me I'd say it was fine". I drove over 2 miles down the road to get gas (adding 4+ miles to the total) and put in $6 in gas and if I hadn't stopped it it would have put in more. I talked with someone who couldn't do anything until talking to the manager the next day. Got a call the next day that I could get $3.71 back and only had to pay $2.29 for 1 gallon of gas. My rental must have had horrible gas mileage!!! 12 miles to the gallon? Even my 2009 Legacy does better than that. Sad to be nickle and dimed for 12 gallons of gas when the reason I had to come in was because of a recall on Subarus part. Aka a mistake that they made that I was inconvenienced for. Was very happy with this dealer until this. More
