We went to Rafferty because they were the dealer specified by Costco - otherwise, we would have gone to a dealer closer to us. Our goal was to to test drive and talk. Jen was informative, polite, and accommodating. When we went to drive the car, her tour of the features of the car was very well presented and succinct (a much different experience than we had at other deales). After the drive, we started talking. Being my first Costco auto transaction, I was curious about the "Costco" price. Jen asked what models I wanted to see and promptly produced the written quotes. After resolving some confusion I had about options and models, Jen showed us pricing on two different models than the first round. Since the concept of a purchase was a little farther down the road than we were thinking (financially we were prepared), I was hesitant because I was trying to make a decision between this Subaru and another manufacturer. I had researched the models's pricing so I had a general sense of how good the pricing was - and it was fair. Jen did what a good sales person does, she continued to ask for the sale while making it comfortable and nonthreatening. All the while she asked, "what can I do to help you?" Making good on that question, she came back to us twice with different deal structures. She offered us private time to talk. Throughout the transaction I felt like we could have stopped it and not been held hostage (as I have experienced at other dealers). Tom, the finance guy (and the very first time we met him the whole evening - never did we have to "speak with the manager" when an obstacle came up) offered the add-on packages without undue pressure. The night ended with a very fair price (better than I thought was possible), no tension, anxiety OR buyers remorse. Also, we didn't feel like we had just been in a 15 round boxing match. We attribute Tom and especially Jen with our pleasurable transaction (Really? This was a car purchase! That's not supposed to happen!) I just wish we lived closer. More

Honest and professional I spoke to Jenny on the phone and she set up an appointment for me to test drive a car. I met Dean at the dealership and he was a great help.
