While friendly and pleasant, when I asked about whether or not the turbo engine takes regular unleaded gasoline, He was sarcastic about it not taking Diesel fuel which I knew that and proceeded to tell me the turbo engine uses regular unleaded. This was a concern of mine from the beginning and had I known about this I would have considered at other non turbo vehicles. I have already submitted feedback on my service experience. Had to bring it in after only having the vehicle for two weeks. More
I was impressed from the moment I arrive to drop off my car at the garage. The smoothness in transition from dropping off my car and receiving a rental car was practically flawless. It was a very easy switch which I needed as a busy, full- time working mother. This had been my 4th mechanic in 5 weeks with no resolution to my problem. I was afraid my car would be considered totaled and I would have to purchase a new one- aka have car payment again. I was hesitant to go back to another dealer due to the inflation of costs I have found with dealerships. However Rafferty did not exaggerate the cost of labor or parts. My bill was the lowest it had been in the last five weeks with other mechanics. Mark Tenglia was my service writer. He was kind calm and understanding of my situation. Ryan, the mechanic, figured out the issue and Diz (another mechanic) took it for an extra long drive to make sure the alerts for not come back on. Finally- relief from my car woahs! I was extremely happy with my experience and I plan to use Rafferty again in the future for any repairs; and for future purchase of a new Subaru (hopefully several years down the line). More
