Buyer beware I bought a 2016 Lexus (just over 33k miles) and was told during negotiations the price was pretty firm because they do service and inspection on every I bought a 2016 Lexus (just over 33k miles) and was told during negotiations the price was pretty firm because they do service and inspection on every vehicle. When I was taking delivery I specifically asked if an oil change was performed and told yes by salesperson Paul and that I was good until about 40k miles. However after driving the car only a couple of thousand miles the check engine light came on and research showed it meant change the oil. Upon contacting the sales person was told that couldn't be correct bring it in and he would have them check. He brought it to the back and someone said it was good - they just "forgot" to reset the notification. Okay. Then while driving the car and braking I observed a slight shimming of the steering wheel. More so with a harder brake then a gradual brake. At somewhere above 39k miles but under 40k my fiancé called the salesman and service manager Harry Bourgeois and set up an appointment a week later to look at the issue. At the time of appointment the milage was just over 40k and I was told after looking at it that yes it needed brake pads and the rotors turned but would recommend new rotors and the best they would do would pay half the cost. And I was told that 40k is what is pretty much expected on the car before a brake job would be required. Needless I left without letting them service my vehicle and this definitely makes me question everything they said and question if ANY inspection and/or service was performed on this car as stated prior to me taking delivery. I would recommend anyone buying a vehicle from this dealership to request all paperwork associated with their consideration and even then - buyer beware. The one stars is because I believe I was lied to. More
