My dealings with the service department have been uniformly positive. The staff is very conscientious about keeping you abreast of progress and going over the work when it’s done. uniformly positive. On 09 Oct 2021 my wife and I went to Rairdon of Kirkland, WA to look at a used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was listed on line with an internet cost of $42,500. We were immediately greeted by Justin who wa WA to look at a used 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee that was listed on line with an internet cost of $42,500. We were immediately greeted by Justin who was eager to get us into ANY jeep. We specifically came to see the jeep mentioned and it took a little time for Justin to find the keys for a test drive. We eventually drove the jeep and were pleased with it and now it was time to “negotiate”. We told him we were paying cash and didn’t need financing so this should be really simple. We went inside with Justin and waited for him to come back with “some numbers”. Here is where the issues started. His printout listed a final cost at $55,000. This was on a $42,500 vehicle. He proceeded to go through the breakdown which included nearly $6,700 in maintenance agreements plus an additional $300 or so in taxes on that amount. We told him that we didn’t want any of the maintenance agreements and he said he would be right back. After about 20 minutes he returned and said they can take $50 off of one agreement and about $100 off another and that these were now at “cost”. He then showed us two additional finance agreements we had to choose from. What he said next really annoyed me to the point we quickly got up and walked out. Justin first stated “I am just the messenger”. My question is “why am I speaking with you then?” He then went on and stated “YOU WILL HAVE TO” choose two of the four cost attachments to buy this vehicle at the $42,500 price. This was the classic bait and switch coupled with predatory selling practices and a culture of bullying customers. In addition to the issues with Justin and the behind the door “Manager” we were there with two other friends who were sitting in their own Jeep watching and listening to some disturbing selling practices being targeted to an elderly gentleman to pressure and force him to buy a vehicle to the point where the sales representatives were grabbing at the gentleman’s wallet. This is incredibly disturbing and unprofessional behavior. This behavior isn’t just at the lower ranks of sales representatives but goes straight up to the managers who obviously condone this behavior in order to make sales. If this wasn’t the case then it would not occur. I did received a phone call from Brenda, a manager at Kirkland, a few days after to see if I was still looking for a jeep and if our sales representative treated us professionally. I missed her call and had to return it. When I spoke to her, I relayed all that went on and how disappointed we were with the encounter and lack of professionalism within her dealership. There seems to be no contact log that indicated what had occurred on the day we visited Rairdon of Kirkland as she seemed unaware of why we did not purchase the jeep we were looking at. She then relayed my message to her manager/supervisor, Kevin, who promptly called me the same day. We discussed the aforementioned in great detail and he was apologetic for his sales representatives. In my opinion Kevin is part the problem, he is the leadership. Those representatives are his people; take charge and responsibility Kevin. He stated he was going to speak with Justin about my complaint. Several days later Justin, the salesman from Kirkland, called to see if we were still looking for a Jeep. I can surmise that the conversation between Kevin and Justin did not occur. Two days after our visit to Kirkland we went to Raridon’s of Marysville and bought the exact same vehicle that we drove at the Kirkland location and the deal only took 10 minutes. Totally different atmosphere and culture at the Raridon of Marysville, WA. My wife and I are both retired Chief Petty Officers and we were treated in this fashion. It scares me to think how our young sailors may be treated at Rairdon of Kirkland and we will, through our contacts, ensure they stay away from Raridon’s of Kirkland. Sincerely, Lance and Shelby Bassett Chief Petty Officers USN (RET) More
Under no circumstances should you buy a car from this dealership. Anthony, who initial was helping us, absolutely didn't listen to anything we were saying. He brought out a 2 year old jeep, despite us te dealership. Anthony, who initial was helping us, absolutely didn't listen to anything we were saying. He brought out a 2 year old jeep, despite us telling him many times we simply wanted to sit in a 2021 Jeep. He got his sales manager involved and they then spent the next 2 hours jerking us around--we waited for over 45 minutes for them to tell us the Jeep we just negotiated had been sold that morning. The only reason we stuck through the process was I didn't have time to go anywhere else and my lease was up. They put stickers on my trade-in before I even got my stuff out of the car and then rushed me out, which caused me to leave behind important personal items, which they THREW AWAY. THEN, they never paid off my trade in and I now have a late payment on my credit and it's STILL not paid off. I have contacted them several times about this, but they made it clear that now that the sale is done, they don't care. RUN AWAY. Go to any dealership but them. More

I took my 2014 Ram 1500 truck in for a 75k service. I was told the part and service would be approx $340 to fix. Because the part needed to be ordered we agreed I would think about doing the repair. On the way home I was thinking the VIP warranty I purchased with the vehicle should cover it and called back to see if that was true. It took >24 hours to confirm in fact this was covered which delayed ordering the part and scheduling the service to a day when I was not on vacation….making it inconvenient to travel up there during commute traffic. 3) I had to ask if the warranty covered the initial $180 charge which it does.meaning after the $100 deductible I should get back $80. In summary, I needed to ask the questions or be charged ~$450 more than I needed to AND this wasn’t efficient as I needed to bring the vehicle back while back at work. Not sure if it is training (this person has been there 2 Months) or if the person is a bad fit but this left a bad taste in my mouth. More
