THIS DEALERSHIP USES LIES, SCARE TACTICS AND PLOYS TO MOVE C PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE ENTERING THIS DEALERSHIP! I received a 'recall' notice in the mail yesterday for our 2012 Jeep Patriot. When I call PLEASE READ THIS REVIEW BEFORE ENTERING THIS DEALERSHIP! I received a 'recall' notice in the mail yesterday for our 2012 Jeep Patriot. When I called Rairdon's to inquire what the recall was for, it was suggested we come to the dealership to discuss our options with the recall specialist because our car could potentially be unsafe to drive. Today, my husband, one year old, and I went to the dealership for our appointment. There were already customers with the recall specialist, as well as more people waiting to speak with him after our appointment-- a steady flow of people coming in and out that had received recalls in the mail. Upon sitting down at the table, and handing the "specialist" our recall notice, he looked at the paper, pulled out his binder and told us, "THIS IS THE WORST RECALL I'VE SEEN...IF YOUR CAR WAS IN AN ACCIDENT, THERE WOULD BE GAS EVERYWHERE AND IT WOULD BE LIKE THE MOVIES... FIRE EVERYWHERE". He then proceeded to tell us, while looking at our child, that since we have responsibilities as parents to keep her safe, we should no longer drive our car. He pulled out a contract to have us sign, which we didn't, that stated that we were not recommended to drive our car. The kicker-- the new parts for our car would take 3-4 months to get in, so rather than having an un-drivable car, we could have the option to trade it in for something better for little to no cost. We were then sent to talk to the "Jeep Specialist" to help us work out our options. This specialist confirmed with us, after going and getting our VIN number from our specific car, that our car was part of the recall and that we shouldn't drive our car. After going over our list of needs for a trade in, he came back and told us to come outside to see the car he found and that it was "perfect". It was, to say the least, the BIGGEST downgrade from our car possible. I don't know how he thought we would even consider trading our car for what he showed us. We would have been idiots to take the trade. After telling him we weren't interested, he took us inside and said that he didn't have a single other car for us, there were no other options. We asked what the cash trade in would be and he told us a price less than what the car was worth, and even admitted that our car was worth more than his offer. HERE'S THE PART YOU HAVE TO READ: After telling him we just wanted to wait for the recall parts instead of trading in our car, the Jeep specialist- who just so happens to be the Floor Manager as well, took us to the parts department and left. We were planning to set up an appointment and potentially finding a rental car for the time being, when this man tells us, "YOU'RE GOOD TO GO, THERE IS NOTHING NEEDING TO BE FIXED ON YOUR CAR"... WHAT?! We double checked and told him we had the recall notice and that we were JUST told not to drive our car because it was unsafe, and he insured us that our car was fine. I literally asked the man-- "So they were COMPLETELY LYING to us to try to get us to upgrade and give you our perfectly good car?!" His response, "YES". This is THE MOST UNETHICAL SCHEME...I am truly beside myself that a dealership could use fear tactics and could be so immoral. To tell us that we are putting our daughter at risk by driving our car, then to find out it was a complete lie?! I am truly appalled by what happened today, and you can be assured that I am going to do everything in my power to prevent anyone from going to this dealership-- for anything! More

My fiancee and I purchased a 2014 Jeep Patriot from Kyle last week and I have to say; this was an experience like no other. Hear me out: I've been wanting to re-finance my 2008 Jetta for a while, but I hadn't found the right deal. I pass up mailer's all the time but one specific mailer from Rairdon caught my eye. I called them up and from the very beginning I was shown GREAT customer service. Zack answered my call and offered to stay late to meet me while I came in for a same-day appointment. He answered a few questions and then introduced us to Kyle who eventually sold us the SUV. Kyle was incredibly honest and felt more like a friend than a salesman. It felt nice to have someone on our side while buying a car. He gave us great pointers on what to avoid with the Jeeps and what was more of a necessity. Even though the process took quite long, they were all VERY patient with us and had honest answers to just about every question I threw at them. We were offered Coffee, water, and tea to keep us busy while they looked over the numbers. But here's the best part. I've been through quite a few dealerships through the years and this is the only one that has met my demands and THEN SOME. I asked for a little more for my trade-in as well as all-weather mats which was to be included in the sale price. They granted both requests and also worked harded to get me a much better APR than they had originally quoted (which I was already okay with). The monthly price ended up being $50 less than what I was hoping for. Kyle and three of his co-workers walked us out and admired our new Jeep. They all really made our experience an unforgettable one, which is how it should feel when you're making such a big decision in your life. More

Overall good experience My only complaint would be that my wife and I were at the dealership for far longer than we had planned to be. We knew EXACTLY what we wanted when we went in and were under the impression that the dealership would have no problem pulling the Jeep up for us to view and even test drive. While the model with the features we were looking for was never seen our rep Rich Regan managed to get us 2014 Latitude at a reasonable price that we're both extremely happy with. More

I went to your dealership to purchase a 2013 jeep unlimited Sahara on 9/1/13 . The salesman told us , since it was a Sunday the Parts Department was closed, to email him our address so he could send unlimited Sahara on 9/1/13 . The salesman told us , since it was a Sunday the Parts Department was closed, to email him our address so he could send us the mats for the vehicle . Emailed him no response or Mats , Called , no return calls. The vehicle only had a rear plate , so he was also going to send the Plate or plates.... No plates either. Still only have one Key and Fob .. which also was promised. I received a call from someone in Service reminding me of our complimentary oil change and asked if we could take care of the Recall Issue at the same time , He said no problem see you Saturday the 15th. I called early Saturday ,only to find out I was never put on the schedule and that there was no way the recall issue could be done, as there is an 80 person waiting list. This is the second Jeep we have Purchased from you and will be the Last. Being self employed I know that your word is often all you have , and if you don't deliver what you promise you will lose customers. This is "why" I am giving this review , so that maybe your employees will learn the value of keeping their word and making good on promises , or you will continue to lose customers. Following is taken from my Yelp review last week. I got an immediate response on Yelp that a manager would like to talk to me, and I immediately replied with my e-mail address and phone number. Not surpri an immediate response on Yelp that a manager would like to talk to me, and I immediately replied with my e-mail address and phone number. Not surprisingly (given my experience with them), I've yet to hear from a manager. I doubt strongly that I ever will. Much like some others, I wish I could give zero stars. Unfortunately, one is the lowest. I've bought quite a few cars in my time. Bought my first one 45 years ago -- paid for it with my after school job. I've owned jeeps for the past 16 years, and just bought my latest at Rairdon's. I'll almost certainly buy another jeep in the future, but I'll never darken the door of this dealership again. This was, without any doubt, the worst car buying experience imaginable. Let me set the stage for you -- we had researched this purchase thoroughly, and found the new jeep we wanted. I planned to pay cash (well, technically, write a check, but you get the picture). We called in and let them know we were coming. Once we got there, the deal started progressively falling apart. First, the price advertised was very different from the price at the dealership (by a couple of thousand dollars). Turns out, the price advertised included military rebates, first time rebates, and whatever. Naturally, the dealership had no intention at all of negotiating or honoring their flawed advertising. Sigh.... so I agreed to pay full sticker price for the jeep. Whatever... just give me the keys and let me get out of here. I might mention that Rairdon's seems to be doing a great business. The "showroom" has been converted into a nasty, messy, disorganized, dirty, noisy, mass of people and randomly scattered desks where customers sit and wait for salespeople to run around and try to sell several "deals" at once. Somewhere along the line, the salesman tried to sell us a different vehicle to asuage our anger over the flawed ad, but the alternative vehicle was nothing like the one we'd picked out, so we told him no. Eventually, we got sick of waiting (we'd been there about an hour a that point, check in hand, waiting for the keys). We finally got up an left. As we were driving out of the parking lot, my wife called the dealership, asked for a manager, and expressed outrage at how badly we'd been treated. He talked us into coming back and piecing the deal back together. They made us fill out a credit ap (I'm not kidding -- I'm standing there with a check in my hand!) and then PULLED MY CREDIT REPORT (again, I'm not kidding!!!!). We left again. Finally, they brought the car to the house a couple of days later, missing the owners manual. They told me I'd need to download that to an Ipad, which is really useful info. (I'm being sarcastic.) Naturally, I told them they needed to get me one. They finally did -- after a month. They then titled the car wrong (wrong name -- I'm going to have to go fix eventually) and wrong address. Bottom line -- jeeps are great cars. I was really in the market for a Range Rover, but became convinced that sticking with jeep would save me maintenance/repair costs in the long run. However, jeep as a product line is being massively disserved by this dealership. Of course, I'll never let them touch the car again -- do you think for one second I'd let a bunch of keystone cops like this handle the maintenance???? More
