Never Going Back I was referred to Ramsey Mazda through TrueCar. After the test drive, we sat down to do paperwork and I was then told the TrueCar quote was "a mistake I was referred to Ramsey Mazda through TrueCar. After the test drive, we sat down to do paperwork and I was then told the TrueCar quote was "a mistake" and they could not sell to me at their quoted price. Because I desperately needed a car for work that week, I bought the car after getting them to split the difference on the "mistake." I asked them to throw in all-weather floor mats for my troubles and they agreed. On the day I took delivery of the car, the business manager told me they had overestimated the government charges and would be sending a refund check in a few days. After waiting and not receiving the check, I called and their story changed. They refused to issue a check and they insisted I provide a credit card number to process the refund. I suppose this was to save less than $2 on postage and merchant fees. However, when I took delivery of the car, the mats were not installed, but were left in an opened box in the trunk instead. When I got home, I saw that the driver's mat had visible signs of wear (not minor), so they didn't even give me new floormats. My experience at Ramsey Mazda was so unpleasant that I decided that living with used floormats would be better for my blood pressure than going back to complain. I will say that I had to return for the free first oil change and for a recall and the service department experience was fine. More
