I am forwarding a reply from our Service Manager, Mike Covertino in response to your recent feedback given through our website. The customer had an issue with their alarm going off when opening and closing the doors. My technician spent an hour checking the battery, the charging system, the starter and the alarm system. His conclusion was that problem was being caused by the aftermarket (non-Nissan) alarm system malfunctioning that was not installed by us and we had no knowledge on how to repair it. We informed the customer that she would have to go back to the company who installed it for repairs. The customer had agreed to the $125.00 diagnostic fee to pay for the technicians time to diagnose the problem when the vehicle was dropped off. I received a letter from the customer and left a voice mail message on 03/18/17 with no reply.
