65 K Service This is my second Forester. The first one I bought at Bill Kolb which is just a few miles from my house. I purchased my 2017 from Ramsey because I bou This is my second Forester. The first one I bought at Bill Kolb which is just a few miles from my house. I purchased my 2017 from Ramsey because I bought the car from a family member on your sales team. Not convenient to get to Ramsey but the experience is so positive it is worth the ride early on Saturday mornings instead of sleeping in. The place is spotlessly clean and the staff in the garage couldn't be more friendly or polite. That being said I do have some issues with my most recent visit. When I arrived it was mentioned that there is an open recall on my '17 Forester which I heard about on the radio, read about in newspapers and recently (within days) received mail from Subaru. It was suggested that the recall work be done in conjunction with the reason for my visit - a routine service. My last service was the big 60K service. Since the recall work would take a while it was suggested i borrow a loaner and wait for a call to come back. i couldn't devote a whole Saturday to being in your waiting room so i took it. i did not want to drive back and forth from Nyack to Ramsey twice in one day but that was the lesser of two evils. When I made the appointment for the service, a red flag should have gone up with the young woman who made the appointment. She should have known that my car needed recall work and that you would need the card for several hours. I would have planned and organized my day around it. There was no need to surprise me with it at the desk. I'm glad both issues were satisfied on the same day but it could have been more convenient. I made the service appointment for nine. I usually make them for 8:00 am. Had I known I was leaving the car i would definitely made it for 8. I didn't get into my car until about 4:15 pm requiring me to rush to where i needed to be. If the whole process had started at 8 the car would have been ready earlier, no rushing required. James Chalmers was excellent in advising me about the recall work, getting me into a loaner and then into my own repaired car and I'm greatful to him for his excellent service every time I come in. More

Ramsey Subaru made the car buying experience stressless I wasn't sure which Subaru model I was interested in buying but they let me test drive three cars before setting on a new Crosscheck.
