Service Advisor Rude I had a service appointment regarding difficulty with the Starlink apps not functioning, specifically the Magellan navigation system. The service advi I had a service appointment regarding difficulty with the Starlink apps not functioning, specifically the Magellan navigation system. The service advisor was impatient and rude saying, “I don’t know what you are talking about “ and that Starlink was only the emergency button. I tried to explain to him that it came with apps and they were not functioning. When the apps appeared on the screen he still insisted he had never seen this before and didn’t know what it was. The issue I have is that his attitude was challenging as if I had done something wrong. How can he work in Subaru Service and not have knowledge of Starlink? He told me I didn't have the correct phone for Starlink to work, however I had just been to Liberty Subaru 2 weeks prior and the Starlink navigation system worked. also I knew that the Starlink app needed to be updated and needed help with that. I never got that far....he told me my phone was causing the problem. End of visit. PS my son was able to quickly update Starlink so that the naviagation and other apps are now working. The service advisor was rude, challenging, and impatient. More
Expensive and time consuming Went in for a 60,000 mile service and to ready the car for summer. Nothing was actually wrong with the car with the exception of a few bulbs and we s Went in for a 60,000 mile service and to ready the car for summer. Nothing was actually wrong with the car with the exception of a few bulbs and we still wound up paying almost $700 (3/4 of it for labor cost alone). I dread to think what it would have cost us if there actually was something wrong with the car...just saying More
