We came to Ramsey Subaru on a whim, to take a look at a used car that my husband saw online. I had a Grand Cherokee that I had been looking to trade in for some time. After getting an internet price that seemed reasonable I proceeded to an appointment to see the Forester Premium with manual transmission. My initial contact was with Robert Wood and I was then transferred to Michael Pandolfelli. Michael was warm, knowledgeable, and accommodating in every way. When we met with him we appreciated his calm approach to our discussions concerning our purchase and trade-in evaluation. All matters relating to our visit and purchase were handled in a most professional and satisfactory manner. Having purchased a number of cars over a lifetime, our encounter with Michael was among the best in the search and purchase process. Michael could not be present for the appointment made to pick up the car due to a personal obligation so he arranged for Chris to assist us in the review of the cars functions and to get our approval that the car was ready for us in a way that met our approval. The only moment that was not optimum for us in our contact with Ramsey was the feeling that the meeting with person who discussed the financial matters of the purchase made the process feel very rushed. Alex and the dealership was great. They are right on the highway, so there's not much chance to experience anything but straight highway driving, so I asked if we could go on side streets. Well, to our delight we were taken out for an awesome back roads test drive by one of the guys and really got to experience the car in all 3 driving modes -- offroad, local and highway. Very easygoing place to work with, we were stunned at how quickly our paperwork was prepared and the deal had been finalized without any hassles or manager interventions. They were running a below invoice special and were truly the best priced of the 4 dealerships in the area, and offered a fair value on the trade. Would recommend working with this dealer, and ask for Alex especially as he is very friendly, patient, thorough, takes the time to know and understand what you're looking for, and easy to work with.
