Service Department were Heroes for the Day! This past weekend I was visiting from St. Louis, Missouri for a family wedding in Strawberry Point, Iowa. On Friday night after we had finished shopp This past weekend I was visiting from St. Louis, Missouri for a family wedding in Strawberry Point, Iowa. On Friday night after we had finished shopping at Wal-Mart in Manchester, my 2018 Honda CR-V would not start. I contacted Honda Care, they called AAA for a battery jump. They were able to get my car started, however, after driving the car for 45 minutes and arriving in Strawberry Point, turned the car off and it would not start again. I started looking online for the nearest Honda dealership that had a service department that would be open on Saturday. So thankful that Randy Kuehl Honda was open on Saturdays!! On Saturday morning, my brother jumped my battery to start to my car and I drove an hour and 15 minutes from Strawberry Point to Cedar Rapids. I arrived at 7:30am and was warmly greeted by Paul Thuli. I explained my situation to him and he said they could look at my car and get me out as quick as possible. Paul got me settled in the waiting room, showing me where the coffee and restrooms were located and offered me a donut. They had me back on my way to Strawberry Point by 8;30 with a new battery. What a blessing! Paul and the mechanics working that day were definitely the Heroes for the Day! I was back in ample time spend time with my family and get ready for a beautiful fall day wedding!! I cannot say enough about the professional and kind service that I experienced on Saturday. Having car problems on an 18 month old car is stressful enough without being out of town and totally unfamiliar with the area. Not only was my car fixed but I was welcomed with kind, friendly and quality professional service! Thank you to Paul and the mechanic for alleviating my stress and taking care of my car and me! More
