We lived in Greenwood for about as long and know of Ray Skillman and all his dealerships. I fall in love with the Kia Soul and after coming in and talking to the salemen, Ross and Luke and them letting us test drive a few kia's on the lot. I felt like the guys took the time and answer all my questions that i had and both were very pleasent to work with..... I would send any of my friends over to the skillman family for the vehicle that i know they will found and they work with you to get you behind the wheel of the car you want. Also Doug I want to thanks him for getting us financed for our new 2014 Kia soul..... More

Chris Fisher did a great job getting me comfortable in making this purchase (without actually visiting the dealership) and was able to have it delivered to my home in New Jersey. Shortly after I took delivery, I noted a potential problem with the rear view mirror. Ray Skillman stood behind their dealer warranty and promptly mailed me a new mirror (and sold me a Ford Extended Warranty at cost). I would highly recommend purchasing another car from them. Thanks again, Chris More
Great experience to purchase a new van. We are from out of state and we were treated like old friends by everyone we came in contact with. Because we were only in Indiana for about 20 days, they worked hard to put all our needs front and center. We ordered a special conversion van which has to be built by Explorer and delivered by the time we were to leave Indianapolis. What a great team Dianne, Larry and Adam were to make this all happen very smoothly. Ray Skillman was on hand to shake our hand and visit with us. We would recommend this dealership to anyone from far or near. Dianne called us while we were on the road back to Kansas just to check and see how we were doing. We love the new van and felt it was absolutely the best experience we have had in buying a GMC Savana Explorer Van. Thanks again to the whole team including Adam Franks in the service department!!!!!!! More

We spent at least 4 hours working with Marc in understanding the features of our daughter's new Terrain. He was very patient, knew the SUV inside and out, and was extremely knowledgeable. Marc bonded with us immediately and shared some personal information with us as we worked through the leasing process. As we moved along to the financing side and worked with Colt Key, we felt comfortable and relaxed. Even though our payment terms were higher than we originally requested, we understood that this was because of our money down. Our family was able to acquire the best interest rate possible. Colt has an amazing sense of humor and is quite personable. We were disappointed that we had to drive to another dealership, though, to trade back in the Dart that was leased prior to the Terrain. We thought since the banking was still Ally that the task could have been accomplished at one location. The Hasecuster family will definitely recommend and return to Ray Skillman! More
Will not return to this dealer, do not recommend this dealer Stopped in at Ray Skillman to look at passenger vans, used vans in particular. Dealer usually has a good selection of passenger vans on display. Could Stopped in at Ray Skillman to look at passenger vans, used vans in particular. Dealer usually has a good selection of passenger vans on display. Couldn't afford new conversion vans, (60k-70k), so looked for used vans and SUVs that met our passenger and towing capacity needs. As we looked around the lot, saw a couple of potential vehicles. No one from the dealer approached us as we looked at vehicles. Went in the dealership and looked at cars in the showroom. Multiple employees of the dealership passed us and walked around us, but no one made contact or offered any assistance. Finally went to the main desk to ask for help. Nothing in inventory met our price range, but the used car manager, Mike, identified a used van just taken in on trade and not yet through the service department and listed on inventory. They offered to show us the van and we accepted. Spent awhile looking at the van and asking questions. The van showed good quality and good care, despite the fact that it was in the condition it arrived in, not yet cleaned up by the service department. It was well taken care of. We went back in and agreed to buy it. Our vehicle was valued and paperwork was drawn up showing the selling price of the van, the trade-in allowance, and given to the finance manager to get financing. Waited quite awhile and was finally told to return home, the banks on the west coast were closed and it would be noon or so the next day to get an answer. Very interesting, considering the finance company handling our current loan had hours posted on their website until 11pm Eastern. We had asked that this company be contacted since they had offered very favorable rates and terms on our previous purchase. The dealership claimed to work with 30 banks, but none were "available." Waited until after noon the next day. No call. My wife called the dealership to ask about the status of the deal. The van was going through the service department and would be ready that day. They had no idea who were we were and that we were purchasing a vehicle. Took several tries to get to someone who even knew that a sale was to take place. No answer yet from the finance guy. Late in the afternoon, while traveling, got a call from the dealership saying still no answer on financing. Over a week later, still no answer on financing. I could have made the call myself and got financing within minutes. We were offered financing over the phone by one source to purchase a vintage Corvette a couple of months ago. Do Ray Skillmann people really think we are that stupid to believe such a story? By far, that is not the first vehicle we have purchased and financed. Other deals were being closed during the hours of wasted time we spent there and people were driving away in a newly purchased vehicle. It became very obvious they intended to sell the vehicle to someone else for a better price and were not going to process the financing request. It apparently took them quite awhile to fabricate a story that they thought was believable. (It was not, even thought they had the guts to make it up and offer it.) I hope that buyer does them really well and comes back over the years. We will not be returning to the dealership under any circumstances and are letting others know that the people at that Ray Skillmann dealership cannot be trusted. Beware of their estimates of the trade-in value of your vehicle as well. Despite their "generosity" in offering more than your vehicle is "worth", they still substantially undervalued the vehicle's trade-in value. Save your time and money and go elsewhere. More

We each left driving a new 2014 Kia Soul. The service is fantastic and so was Michael Dine and Doug Magnusen. I would refer friends and family to Ray Skillman and have already done so. I drive to Greenwood from Bloomington to service my car because of the friendly staff and I trust them with my vehicle. I would give a 5 star rating to everyone I came in contact with. My sister and I could not be happier. More
Top Notch Customer Service! Great Overall Experience! After a horrible experience there, I found the same vehicle online at Ray Skillman and decided to take a look at it since I had already made the trip. To my surprise, just walking in the doors was a completely different experience from the other dealership! They were warm, friendly and inviting! They did not treat us like we were interupting their day or like we were too young and poor to be seriously considering a $35,000 car. They actually went the extra mile to make my car buying experience a pleasant one. I test drove all the vehicles I wanted, had all my questions answered (without being made to feel stupid) and they were NOT pushy! It was amazing!!! I highly recommend this dealership. They do everything possible to get you in the car of your dreams, even if your credit is not perfect. I am so glad I decided to go there instead of just heading home after my horrible experience at the other place. I am now the proud owner of a GMC Acadia Denali and I will be buying our next vehicle for my fiance from there as well! Thank you Chris Fischer & Robert Griffith!!! You guys are a pleasure to work with! More
The customer experiece is the worse that I have ever seen in a dealership in my life. Mike Dine was absolutely awesome and would love to send business to him; however the entire company has unethical busine in a dealership in my life. Mike Dine was absolutely awesome and would love to send business to him; however the entire company has unethical business practices. I had been working on a deal for about 3 weeks now. The first encounter was not bad they started to work on financing, when going in the second time the finance manager Colt Key tried to make me buy an extended warranty that I didn't want. I told him that I was not going to purchase it and that he needed to take it off. He then proceeded to tell me that he would not and that I had to purchase it, he changed his story a couple of times during this as well being first is was the manager that was making him sell this to me then later it was the bank. It was also told to me that I could cancel it 6 months from that day as I didn't want it. Come to find out Mr. Key was not authorized to make the offer that he did. Upon the file being moved to another finance manager it was fully discovered that what Mr. Key had done, in my opionion, he was making a fraudalt deal. On the third trip into the dealership the deal was supposed to be done, but at last minute the final numbers were changed once again that more money had to be put down. After finally agreeing to do so, and waiting for several hours, one of the managers came over and explained that what they were doing for me was pending on a two car deal, as a friend was with me and considering buying a car. If he didn't buy a car as well that they could not complete the deal. By this time I expressed my frustration and explaination that he was never part of the deal. Where they get off trying to make someone do something that they don't want to do is unethical. My deal has had the numbers changed several time and each time it is different, of course it is always wanting more money down. I will not send any business to Ray Skillman in my lifetime, which is a shame as Mike Dine has tried his best to work on this deal and has gotten the short end of the stick. More
