Inquired about a 2023 Tahoe Premier. A sales associate named Kyle told us over the phone he would have the Tahoe ready to go when we got there. He even texted a while later asking if we A sales associate named Kyle told us over the phone he would have the Tahoe ready to go when we got there. He even texted a while later asking if we were on our way. When we arrived we took a look at the Tahoe and found some chipped paint, some buffed scratches, & some scratches on the aluminum in the loading area of the tailgate. While test driving the Tahoe, Kyle’s answer was mostly, “I’ll have to look or find out when we get back”. When we got back to the dealership, I made an offer which he refused. Instead of a counteroffer, Kyle said, “I don’t wanna be that guy, but I have someone coming on Monday that’ll pay full sticker price”. I told my wife, “Let’s go”, and got up and left. Either that was the worst sales negotiation I’ve ever been involved in or Kyle just had us drive 45 miles for nothing. Either way, I will NEVER go back to this dealership. Car salesman's have had bad reputations for being unethical for countless years and this guy is a prime example of why. More
