The price for my 30k mile service was way too high. It was $691, and that was with me turning down the brake fluid flush, plus I had already changed the engine air filter and cabin air filter before I lef was $691, and that was with me turning down the brake fluid flush, plus I had already changed the engine air filter and cabin air filter before I left for vacation. And that cost was after the $50 Internet discount, so it would have been higher otherwise. I understand that my 2018 Pilot is all wheel drive and changing the rear differential oil added to the total cost, but there's no reason why it should have cost more than $500 at the absolute most. The service advisor was talking too fast and giving numbers, and my hearing isn't the greatest. And I think he was giving numbers but without saying "dollars", so it was hard to keep up with the prices he was telling me before the work was done. I didn't realize that the total amount would be that much. I should have refused to pay that price and tore up the paperwork he gave me, until he reduced the amount to $500 or less. But by the time everything was done, I was too tired to argue. The only reason I stopped there was because I was on vacation, and just happened to reach the service interval at that particular time, and I wanted Honda techs to do the work rather than at a place like Jiffy Lube. I don't live in the Lakeland area anymore, and I've never been to Regal, so I had no idea what to expect. I'll never go back there again. I'll call around to different dealers, or pick a reputable independent shop to go to, but I'll do whatever I need to do to avoid going to Regal. The ONLY reason I'm giving them 3 stars is because it seems that everything was done correctly. More
