Date of Service: October 11, 2025 Location: Regal GMC / Honda Dealership I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, and the entire experience turned into a frustrating, time-wasting Honda Dealership I took my vehicle in for a simple oil change and tire rotation, and the entire experience turned into a frustrating, time-wasting disaster. My appointment was scheduled at the GMC dealership, but when I arrived, I was told all service had been moved to the Honda dealership next door. No prior notice, just a surprise change the morning of. Fine — I went with it and dropped the truck off. I was told it would take about two hours, and I requested a car wash, which they agreed to. When I returned to pick it up later that day, the vehicle was not washed. Annoying, but I let it go thinking at least the service was done... or so I thought. Fast forward to Monday morning (October 13) — I get a call from the service advisor who tells me they might have mixed my truck up with someone else’s and that I “may have a slow leak in the front passenger tire.” When I asked if it needed immediate attention, he said they weren’t even sure it was accurate. I told him I’d bring it in later that week when I had time. Then, Thursday morning (October 16) — my wife calls me at work to say the tire is completely flat. Now I have to leave work to handle this. I call Regal about using my extended warranty for towing (which I knew I had purchased), only to be told by one of their reps that I don’t have coverage. After a second round of phone calls and confusion, my advisor confirms I do have coverage and says he’ll request the tow. An hour passes — no update. I call again and am told the tow truck is on its way to Orlando. No one thought to call or give me a heads-up. Meanwhile, both my wife and I are losing time and income dealing with this mess. Eventually, I figure out a way to get the truck back to the dealership myself. They offer help with a rental while waiting on the replacement tire. But instead of giving me a loaner, I have to go to Hertz myself — another inconvenience — and I get charged $50. Why am I paying anything when this issue was caused by Regal? October 17th, I’m told my truck will be ready. I ask if they can send a shuttle to pick me up, and the advisor says just to bring the rental back to Regal and they’ll return it for me. I declined — after everything that had already gone wrong, I wasn't going to risk another “forgotten” task and end up with extra charges from Hertz. Smart move, because later that same day I get a call from the Regal tow truck driver saying he’s at my house looking for the vehicle — a day late. Absolutely ridiculous. I wish I could say this experience was an anomaly, but it shows a pattern of poor communication, disorganization, and lack of accountability. Sadly, I’m stuck with this dealership due to my extended warranty being tied to them, but if you’re not in the same boat — do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. This is not how a reputable, family-owned business should treat its customers. More
