Went online, found a 2021 Tacoma, 6,500 miles. Check my trade value. Online offer given. Contacted by a sales agent, via text. Inform agent of my offer, and was informed the offer is pretty solid once i ge trade value. Online offer given. Contacted by a sales agent, via text. A manager comes over with my sales agent and offers 4400 dollars less than my original offer.. He states my trade is only fair to good range. And their toyota is excellent/new. Of which was loaded with fast food trash. Pretty clear it was never cleaned. My trade was above and beyond. After the " gotta go talk to a different manager" to give me a number closer to the original offer.. ie..same old manager walk and talk sales pitch. They toss out the..." i can show you more on your trade if you pick a different/ more expensive auto to purchase" same old old school sales crap. Long story short i bought the truck. Only because the are limited via covid. After signing, and walking out i request the spare key...go figure they dont have it. At this point the salesman says, oh its covered under the key replacement plan....yep sure it is...i check...its excluded because it wasnt present at purchase time. Get home...next day notice someone added locking lug nuts to the wheels....ie no key for that either.. all said and done...replacement key, just to have a spare....450 dollars...oh...and they post a pic of my trade in, before i even accepted the deal...with my license plate on it visable as a recent trade in on the website. Total train wreck, first and Without a doubt my last trip to Ricart. More

Our salesman Nijaiquan Forney listened to our needs and delivered what we asked for to the best of his ability. When it got to the point that his boss Steve got involved things changed! At my first meeting with Steve I told him that I have excellent credit. I also told him as soon as he let me know what Ricart was willing to give me for my trade in we could proceed. At this point he becomes very condescending when talking to me. He comes back and tells me he can’t figure the numbers until I tell him what the pay off was, ironically about 3 minutes after I give him the pay off he tells me that I’m being offered a little over $700 less than the pay off. We had a couple requests, one being floor mats. I didn’t think that was too much to ask for when buying a $40,000 truck. He instantly tells me no on any requests I made. Once he got his “numbers” together, he apparently didn’t believe me about my credit score and comes back with a monthly payment of $716-726. I told them that those numbers didn’t sound right to me at all! He asked if I would sign to agree to $690 a month and I did just so I could be done dealing with Steve and get to finance. Because I was really ready to just take my business elsewhere, but we liked the unusual color of the truck so we stayed to hear what the finance guy had to say. Once Nate called us back to finance I voiced my concerns about the payment amount. He congratulated me on my 842 credit score and told me that the payment would be $620! In my opinion that is a big difference from what Steve had told me over a 75 month period! I did end up buying the truck, but this was the worst and most stressful car buying experience I’ve ever had! I will tell you after this experience I will never shop on a Ricart lot again! Just a suggestion, Ricart should change the TV slogan from “We’re Dealin” to Take it or Leave it!! More
