The sales rep that I was dealing with was deceitful. Numerous conversations for a few days, knowing my credit score, financial situation and was very clear on exactly when I needed to be with a payment Numerous conversations for a few days, knowing my credit score, financial situation and was very clear on exactly when I needed to be with a payment and downpayment. He contacted me Multiple times, insisting that his “Director” got me an approval and made it work on a specific vehicle in which he selected; not me. I inquired about some other ones (cheaper, less miles) and he said that it wouldn’t make sense to a bank. He said it’s hard to explain to me and would sound like jargon to me. He wanted me to head to the lot for the one he had picked and was approved. It’s a two hour drive for me. I spoke to him and wanted to plan next day possibly coming there and had a few other vehicles to see. He said that he spoke to his “Director” and they would make it work for where I needed to be with what I was able to spend. I arrive the following day, I want to check out a few others, he put me in one; only to drive me to the initial one he selected for me. He insisted I look at it, Drive it and expressed this one has already been approved and meets your numbers and has all the bells & whistles. He wanted me to take it for a drive so I did. I liked it and rather than causing myself more confusion since it was already approved and matched what I was able to spend; I said I’ll take it. After all the paperwork, he sat down with a paper that had me paying Double the downpayment and double the monthly payment that we had previously and repeatedly discussed!!! I was furious. I expressed my disgust in the deception as well as demanded to speak with the “Director”. He stated then, he had never seen her (whatever kind of xx this meant) I demanded a supervisor or someone come speak to me. A supervisor came, asked me if I was willing to check some other vehicles out and I explained why I was not willing to. I initially wanted to, however this specific sales rep had refrained me earlier from doing so while insisting this was the approved vehicle and amount approved that aligned with what I wanted. So, I explained the deception and that they needed to make this right or I would go somewhere else. His supervisor returned with a lesser payment amount (still more than initial agreement I was told, but a little less than the Sales Rep wanted me to sign for). I ultimately made the purchase; however I would Never recommend anyone to purchase from her, most importantly not deal with the same rep that I did! The supervisor handled the situation much better, he was incredible at communicating with me and did reduce some of my payment and accepted the down payment that was originally agreed upon. My only issue with him, is I do know business, I have a degree and owned two of my own businesses and there was definitely more that could have been done. They should have, at minimum waived or ate the downpayment in a better effort to correct the situation that the sales rep created. I was appreciative of the Supervisor; however the Sales Rep was the exact reason of people having a stereotypical experience of “car salespeople “. Note to the Sales Rep; nice, personable and soft spoken isn’t all that gives a successful experience. HONESTY AND INTEGRITY WILL and this rep lacked and neglected to be either of those. More

This past Saturday, I bought our second family car from Josuel Salcedo at Ricart in Groveport. This is the second experience that my fiancé and I have had with Josuel and the customer service and experienc Josuel Salcedo at Ricart in Groveport. This is the second experience that my fiancé and I have had with Josuel and the customer service and experience he gave us both times, were extraordinary. He gave us such a great experience a couple years ago, that we remembered him and called him to help us out again this past Saturday. He called me back immediately, gave a time for us to come in, and made time to work with us. While we were at the dealership, I witnessed two other people, specifically asking to work with Josuel. He was so busy, trying to accommodate as many people as possible, and is superior at multitasking, while getting the job done. He took us to view at least 8 cars on the lot, and was patient with us to make sure we made the decision that was best for us. He stayed with us two hours after closing time to ensure we had everything we needed before I left with my new car. He is just such a pleasure to work with, and is the definition of a ‘hustler’ – his hard work ethic is unmatched. Josuel has truly made all the difference in both of our vehicle purchases at Ricart – and we will be back to Ricart for our next in the future. More
