I leased a 400 series BMW convertible last September. I was told I would receive a year's complementary satellite radio service as part of the least. Three months into the lease I was contacted by the satellite radio's representative and was told I only had a three month complementary service and would have to start paying for the service. I refused to continue the service and hadn't had satellite radio since that time. I had made several attempts on my own and via BMW representatives to resolve this issue. I was at the dealership yesterday about another matter and decided to try one more time. I was introduced to Mr. Steve Lerner, who took it upon himself to personally navigate a resolution to my problem. After a couple of phone calls, he was told to email a representative at SiriusXM radio, which he did, copying me. He asked me to contact him within the week if I was still without service, and I appreciated the willingness to follow up. Yesterday, before close of business I not only had my satellite radio service back, I was given a full year of complementary service for my trouble. This would not have happened without Mr. Lerner's intervention, and I am very grateful for his persistent, personal, caring help. After this experience, I wouldn't hesitate to continue my relationship with BMW Richmond. When I am ready to lease another car, I will most certainly give them first and foremost consideration.
