Wonderful surprising a simple blessing I walked into Richmond Ford expecting to be denied for a car loan. My current car was on it's last leg. I was upside down with my current loan. My sales rep was Chris Barrack, a very sweet and compassionate young man. He work tiredlessly to get me a loan. He worked with his manager (Sof) and the finance accountant (James) and the 3 of them SUCCESSFULLY obtain a car for me. This was one of the greatest experiences I've ever had when trying to make such a mager purchase. Easy & Straight-Forward CPO Buying Experience After our 2008 Escape broke down for the last time and with a baby on the way, my husband and I started researching reliable, mid-sized SUVs. We looke After our 2008 Escape broke down for the last time and with a baby on the way, my husband and I started researching reliable, mid-sized SUVs. We looked at other brands, at other dealerships around town, but felt like they were trying to sell us just anything without concern for quality or our specific needs. By the time we got to Richmond Ford Lincoln, we were discouraged with the whole car buying process and getting close to just purchasing something from an online retailer. Mark Revely and Chris Williams, who had stayed late to meet us, totally turned it around. They listened to what we were hoping to get out of our new vehicle (and what model we thought we wanted), and encouraged us to consider the CPO Lincolns. We hadn't even put Lincolns on our research list, but after an extended test drive and a great deal, we were sold. Mark, who had to leave a weekend family event, met us at the dealership the following morning to sign the papers. The whole process was quick and easy: Mark Snider and Daryl Edgerton took great care of us. Daryl got us a great deal on an extended warranty that fit our needs and Mark walked us through all the resources Richmond Ford Lincoln offered us as new owners. Before we knew it, the papers were signed and we were driving home in our new Lincoln. More
Unsatisfactory Service Frist I would like to say I have purchased four vehicles from ford in the last 10 years, the sales people are great very professional and knowledgeabl Frist I would like to say I have purchased four vehicles from ford in the last 10 years, the sales people are great very professional and knowledgeable they keep me coming back, however that service department is a mess. I don't trust them because of how business is handle and I think they are dishonest about repairs needed to your car. I have a later model MKS I brought a little last than a year ago I took it in for the free state inspection had an appointment for 12:30p.m it was almost 4:30p.m before my car was ready to long of a wait time with an appointment, then they tell me my car will not pass because of two tires with problems one had a nail in sidewall and the other looked to have some rubber coming off the treads looked good. I couldn't understand how the tire with a nail passed and the one with rubber coming up didn't so the bottom line is I had to get one tire so that my car could pass inspection, the problem is ford got me again for almost 300.00 for a tire or leave with a rejection sticker. When you ask questions they dance around giving you an answer it's feels like they are not concerned about you just out for your pocket book. Another thing I have a new plan coverage on my car paid almost 3,000 extra for it and needed something fixed that was covered but was told it wasn't until salesperson Tony Taylor helped me out and found it was covered, thanks Tony. This was the worst service experience ever I don't trust then and will not bring my car in to ford again and will not recommend them to anyone. I will buy from them but just not service there, honesty, trust and feeling valued as a customer is very important to me. I hope this review change the way the service department relates to customers in the future. More
