Worst dealership ever I called to confirm they had the Cadillac I wanted to test drive in stock. Confirmed. In stock. We drove over an hour in the pouring rain to find out I called to confirm they had the Cadillac I wanted to test drive in stock. Confirmed. In stock. We drove over an hour in the pouring rain to find out this Cadillac was 2 states away. But they did have a Tahoe I could drive or commit to buying said Cadillac if they brought it from the other dealership. Um no. I want a Cadillac not a Tahoe. No I will not commit to buying a car I can’t drive first. MISTAKE BIG MISTAKE. I went to Jim Ellis in Marietta. Very accommodating. Wonderful experience and I did buy a Cadillac not a Tahoe. Worst customer service This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have been given in a long time. I was looking at a 2015 Mercedes C class available online and This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have been given in a long time. I was looking at a 2015 Mercedes C class available online and began to inquire about it. The customer reps said the car was in and to schedule an appointment. I went ahead and did so at 6pm. I called in around 7pm to let them know that I was coming in and would take me about 40 minutes to get there. The front desk person confirmed my appointment with Travis who was the sales person I was going to see and also confirmed the car I was coming in for as well. I drive 40 minutes to get to the dealership and arrive around 7:45 I am greeted by the front dest and told to wait because Travis was with a customer. 10 minutes later Travis comes over with an associate TY and thanks me for coming in to see the Mercedes and that he will have TY assist me because he is working with someone. Not a problem at all. TY takes me to a desk and pulls out a questionnaire. He asks me why I choose the car and begin to tell him. Ty then begins telling me "To me a car is a car, I know some people like the luxury car but its just not for me, I am more into the simple cars" hmmmmmm Thanks Ty for making my choice in car seem inferior to what you would choose. He kept going through the form and asking questions only to get an answer and not hear what I had to say. I even had to tell him 2 times the kind of car I had and had to give him my name twice. At this time Ty is basically killing all the excitement I had coming in to buy a vehicle by giving me his input on cars and making me feel like my choice in cars was dumb. after about 15 minutes of this he grabs my license and proceeds to get the keys for the test drive......... he comes back and say "Hey, unfortunately that car went to another dealership and was sold today" I replied "what????" "I inquired about the car online and was told to come in" he then tells me "well, what time do you inquire cause we had it earlier, thats probably what happened" I reply " an hour ago at 6pm then got a confirmation email at 6:18pm from travis with a picture of the car. Again at 7pm did an associate confirm my appointment and the car I was coming into see" Again TY with the terrible customer service deflecting the blame as if this was my fault for possibly looking at the vehicle earlier in the day when they had it. The lack of accountability and the excitement this gentlemen killed for me purchasing a car was insulting. Not only the 2 hours I wasted driving there doing a questionnaire only to be told sorry we dont have the car. have a good day. Worst customer service I have ever been given by far. More
