Third Chevy purchase, however, worst experience ever!!! Case Description: Contract states if financing can not be approved then the vehicle can be returned. I purchase a 2015 Chevrolet Equinox on 9/6/2014 under the assumption my interest rate would be 4.99%. After having the vehicle for less than a week I was dissatisfied and returned to the location to either get my car back or get into a different vehicle. I waited 3hrs for a finance representative. When Steven Ostrovich was finally able to see me he advised me that I could not get my car back because it was sold, but we could look at other vehicle. Unbeknown to me, he ran my credit again. Then he advised that the original finance representative, Anthony Knight, made an error and the bank would not finance my interest rate making the current contact null and void. At that time I told him I wanted to cancel the deal and get my vehicle. He told me I couldn't do that, although the contract stated I could. He told me that I would have to pay the higher interest rate. I told him that I wasn't signing the contract and paying a higher interest rate for a vehicle I did not want then I walked out of his office into the parking lot. He followed after me and told that if I did not sign the contract then I would not have either vehicle. It was 10pm and I was crying, upset, and had no other way home. I felt that I had no other choice so I stated I would sign the contract. He told me he would lower the vehicle cost by $2k to cover the additional interest. I left the dealership and returned the next day with my loan approval from Bank of America. There is no way I would allow them to make a profit on my financing after that ordeal. A few days later Wells Fargo, loan company for the vehicle I traded in, called me and stated that my car was placed on eBay, but had not been paid off. At that moment I was furious because the dealership had lied. Per their contract I should have been able to reject the vehicle and get my car back, but they bullied me into signing another contract. I spoke with Jessica, my sales rep, and I was suppose to be receiving a call back for Olga,customer service, but as of today no one has returned my calls. During the negotiation process I told the Jessica that I had an approved loan from Bank of America, but they swore up and down they could beat their rate. Within 2 weeks they ran my credit through several leaders for nothing. Not only did they force me into a vehicle I did not want and had the right to refuse when the financing fell through, but they also ruined my credit. More

A Great Experience I first visited the dealership on 12/6/2014, where I met my salesperson, Leo. From the beginning, Leo did his best to help me not only get into a veh I first visited the dealership on 12/6/2014, where I met my salesperson, Leo. From the beginning, Leo did his best to help me not only get into a vehicle I could afford, but a vehicle I wanted to drive and pay for. He knew my circumstances, and had already reached out to the finance manager to make sure we were on the right track. After going through a couple of vehicles, I decided on a 2012 Honda Odyssey EX. On 12/8/2014, I completed the financing paperwork with Vlad. He was able to get me approved that day. I didn't take delivery of the van until 12/9/2014, because it needed repairs to the bumper for rock chips. When I picked it up, it was in great condition and they had done a superb job of repairing the bumper. With the exception of one minor thing, which Leo has already scheduled with the service department to have resolved, everything has been smooth sailing. My dealings with both Leo and Vlad were wonderful. I must say that after reading some of the reviews, I was a bit anxious, because I was thinking, hey, what if they call me back with some of the horrific news I've heard from other reviewers, but Leo and Vlad put my mind at ease, letting me know that all the paperwork I submitted was reflected in the application and that I'd received my approval. I can say that I've truly enjoyed my experience at Rick Hendrick Chevrolet, and Leo made it possible. More
