Here is why - Within the last few months I have bought 1 used car with less than 10,000 miles and 1 new car. The used car is for my daughter, we bought this car in Knoxville at another dealership because we wanted a used car with low miles and Rick’s just did not have the used car inventory for what we were looking for. The new car we bought from Rick McGill’s. I did not realize how horrible my purchase experience was with the used car purchase until I bought the 2nd car from Rick’s! I went in (to Rick’s) very “Cold” I knew what I wanted but was not going to share it - was going to see what they would do for me! Well, they warmed me up, asking me what I wanted and showing they cared about me! Taking the time to find exactly what I was looking for!. They went out of their way to find it! Randy reviewed and showed me all the options my car had and how to work them. You see the first car was purchased for my daughter and they showed me/us absolutely NOTHING about her car, we did not even test drive it (yep - stupid on our part too!)! When I explained this to Randy (at Rick McGill’s) he told me to bring her and her car back to him and he will show her and make sure she is all set up. We saw Randy a week after our purchase and he said “Hey when you bringing your daughter and her car in, so I can make sure she is set up and understands her car options? My only regret now is that the we still have to go to the other dealership for service due to warranty and extended plans we bought. I highly recommend Rick McGill’s as my experiences of 2 car purchases within a few months are like night and day! Don’t waste your time elsewhere!!! More

Bad experience with this dealership I bought a 2011 jeep from them and I've only had it around 6 months and put around 10,000 miles on it.. well around Christmas I had trouble I had an I bought a 2011 jeep from them and I've only had it around 6 months and put around 10,000 miles on it.. well around Christmas I had trouble I had an oil leak lifters ticking and most likely bad rod bearings.. I drove from Virginia to Knoxville to the dealership basically for them to tell me theres nothing they can do and youd be better off going somewhere else.. so now I'm gonna be out a vehicle until I have the money to fix it myself.. They dont warranty all there used vehicles just the Toyotas so think smart when you buy and goto another dealership on the airport mile cause take it from my word and bad experience.
