We disclosed the amount for additional equipment to you before coming down to the dealership and you do have the choice to not do business with us if you find these charges unacceptable. The dealership is not being deceptive, we clearly list the additional equipment on each information page for our customers to see. We understand the disappointment involved with not being able to purchase a vehicle on your terms and for the price you are willing to pay and accept your criticism of our pricing model. We will always provide a price breakdown via phone, text or email to a customer upon request so there is no misunderstanding before coming down to the dealership. Perhaps your review is more a product of you not being able to get a lower price than what we advertised and not really a result of the additional equipment you most likely saw before contacting us.

Leo, we are sorry that you are unhappy with the terms of your automobile purchase, The finance department discloses any and all charges before having a customer sign the sales contract. The dealer cannot force someone to purchase a warranty and if you no longer wish to have the coverage you may cancel the warranty at anytime for a prorated refund of the amount. I spent a fair amount of time gathering information pertaining to the situation you have outlined in your review and we apologize that our attempt to sell your spouse a new automobile has caused you so much frustration. Your spouse was wanting to purchase a new Honda and was trading a vehicle that was in your name only, so we contacted you to obtain that payoff information. You are correct that Gibby should not have asked you for credit information if all he needed was the payoff balance for the vehicle your husband was trading in. There are different ways to obtain a payoff balance for a customer rather than running credit and we sincerely apologize you were asked for your personal information so inappropriately. In your review, you mentioned that we were going to attempt complete a loan without your authorization and we don’t know how you arrived at this conclusion. The dealership will never attempt to conduct business in this manner because it is illegal and unethical. Selling a vehicle in this manner is just not worth the damage it would cause to a dealer’s reputation and the legal aftermath that would ensue. Without knowing your personal situation, we asked your husband if it were possible to add you to the loan. At some point earlier that day your husband mentioned that you had superior credit and we only suggested adding you to the loan to improve the overall loan terms for him. At some point there must have been a miscommunication where you understood that we were going apply for a loan without your authorization, this is simply something we would not do. No single sale is worth this sort of liability. Additionally, when you called the dealership asking for a supervisor, the receptionist transferred your call to sales office where you had a conversation with a sales manager on duty, not Mr. Decker. Mr. Jason Decker is the General Manager of Right Honda and was not at the dealership during the time of your husband’s visit last Saturday. Matt W. 480-778-2440 Right Honda
