Right Honda - Service Center

I was planning on trading my Honda Odyssey in for a new one in a few days, however my air conditioner stopped blowing cold air. I visited the dealer and they told me I needed a new air filter. However, they admitted that when they placed my vehicle on the rack they cracked my dampers/struts and I was responsible for paying $900.00 for the repair. Both my husband and I spoke with the service managers, Andy Cyr and Andy Kirby. They would not waive the fee but merely reduced the cost modestly. I ended up with a credit card bill of roughly $900.00 in charges over the past couple days as a result of simply needing an AIR FILTER! Andy Kirby said they have about 4000 cars that go thru there every month, you would think they would be in a position to help the customer even after admitting it was a result of their technician, their negligence..NOPE! Here I sit with a huge bill on my credit card! Choose another Honda dealer when making a repair!!!! More

I stopped by for service on my Honda Element and was walking up to take a look at the new cars in the showroom and I had dropped a paper out of my hand. I enjoyed my experience at Right Honda. I went in for a recall for my 2007 honda accord and the staff was very friendly and helpful to fix my problems and answer my questions. Only thing is I was expecting a car wash which wasn't giving to me at the dealership that day when they always do when I get my car serviced there. More

The service center was able to get my car in for repairs immediately. They made sure someone was with me at all times so I never felt left wondering what was going on while I was there. I was seen to a rent immediately. They made sure someone was with me at all times so I never felt left wondering what was going on while I was there. I was seen to a rental car quickly and made sure I had everything I needed. I was called before any inspection or work was done on my vehicle. I was given a list of what was being repaired and the repair team worked with my warranty company to ensure that everything I needed fixed was fixed since I was so close to being out of warranty. They also covered additional rental car costs not covered by my warranty due to the holiday weekend. I truly appreciated this. My car is running great. I am so very happy to have her back. More

I hate taking my car there for a oil change because of the fear of being hounded by the sales people there. This week was my worst experience ever. When I go to get my oil changed I usually ask how long i the fear of being hounded by the sales people there. This week was my worst experience ever. When I go to get my oil changed I usually ask how long it will take. During this time I plan on making phone calls and catching up on e-mails. On this particular day, the salesman called my name once. I was on the phone at the time and when he saw that I was off the phone he called my name again and then escorted me to a table to "discuss" my lease (which still has 1 year left). I indicated that I was not prepared to discuss this at that time. He continued to hound me, until I became angry. He finally backed off. When I want to discuss my lease with a salesperson, I will come to them. I do not appreciate being "attacked" every time I just want to get my oil changed or need other auto services. More

I went in for a simple oil change on my Pilot and drove home in a new CRV EX-L! My husband and I both drive Honda's and they are the best. The shuttle van driver took me to work and delivered me back to the dealership. The sales department, managers, accounting were all super in explaining your options. Tom helped us resolve some of the stupidity encountered with the process and completion of forms from the Honda Mobility Program from Torrance. Not only should the forms be clear of what it truly required with the process and completion of forms from the Honda Mobility Program from Torrance. Not only should the forms be clear of what it truly required but also NOT require a Medical DX or copy of source of payment! Our delay was because a source of payment (my credit card) needed to be photocopied and submitted BUT THIS IS NOT ON THE FORM thus further delaying any reimbursement resulting in delays over 30 days as indicated on the paper work to allow for issuance, but also leaving the consumer to pay a 2nd month's interest on the credit card - for something that WAS NOT REQUIRED ON THE FORM IN THE 1ST PLACE! I hope some management numbskull upstream involved with Honda Mobility uses their head and fixes this so good folks like Tom doesn't have to babysit an unnecessary and potential illegal decision someone made in corporate upstream! More

I have used Right Honda for both new sales and service. Both were a bad experience. I will start with sales. When we test drove it the check tire light was on. We were assured that it would be checked and fine when we drove it out, but a couple weeks later it came back on. It turns out the rear tire had a slow leak that was not repairable or under warranty. So we had to replace the tire on our brand new car. THEN I used their service department- TOTAL NIGHTMARE! We have a second Honda that is about 5 years old. I needed to take it in for an oil change and a repair. I called and made an appointment and got a quote for both price and the time the repair should take. When I took it in the next day at the appointed time I was told they had no record of my appointment and it would cost over $100 more than the quoted price and take twice as long! I made the appointment early in the morning thinking it would take 2 hours and I could get some shopping done in nearby stores and my husband could sleep in. Now I had 4 hours to kill so I called him and woke him up to take me home. Two hours later they call and the car is ready! uuuugghhh! I woke him up for nothing (the only day we get to sleep in!). When I picked up the car I complained about everything and was told I shouldn't take it in on a Saturday, that they are busy and understaffed on Saturdays. Shouldn't that be taken care of? Then $360 later I get home and look at the paperwork and find a note that the air filter should be changed. Didn't I just pay them to do that? Honestly. I will never set foot in Right Honda again. I love my cars and will always buy Honda, but I'll go elsewhere next time. More
