I had initially inquired about two vehicles and provided all necessary details, including information about my trade-in, to the sales representatives. Subsequently, I received a call from the sales manager, Hiram Otero, who then asked me the same questions I had already answered. He assured me that he would offer the best deal and that he preferred not to engage in protracted negotiations. After waiting for eight hours, he finally sent the buyer orders for the two cars, only to then cease all communication. I wonder if this is a common tactic. He may inform you that he will not call you back because the price he quotes is supposedly the absolute best you will find. However, you might then find yourself in a position where you are ghosted, seemingly to encourage you to repeatedly contact the dealership, perhaps making you appear overly eager. Following this, they might connect you with another individual, and then yet another, sometimes many hours later, all of whom seem to hold some managerial position. I am grateful for their poor decisions, as it prompted me to conduct further research with GM Financial. It appears they encourage customers to secure loans with capitalized interest, often at rates such as 7.9% or higher, and may suggest that you would not qualify if you chose another financial institution.
