All I had to do was get windshield wipers replaced and installed. This was done very quickly. I saw them installing them within a few minutes. I got there at a very unbusy time, so there was no waiting installed. This was done very quickly. I saw them installing them within a few minutes. After about a 15 minute wait, I texted asking if the job was done. I never got an answer, but within about 5 minutes, I got the bill and paid for it. The guy who did the work get an A+, but overall, a B. Good service, but apparently a paperwork bottleneck. More
I needed to purchase a van to transport a disabled elderly relative. On or about August 6, 2021, I purchased from Riverfront Chrysler Jeep a 2015 Chevy City Express Van for $11476.82 in good faith. I elderly relative. On or about August 6, 2021, I purchased from Riverfront Chrysler Jeep a 2015 Chevy City Express Van for $11476.82 in good faith. I live in Jacksonville, FL and wired the funds to Riverfront to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle was represented to me to have a clean carfax, one owner, and in excellent condition. I made arrangements and paid for the vehicle to be shipped to me from Illinois to Florida. I received the vehicle on or about August 11, 2021, and began using the vehicle. The vehicle was garage kept. I drove the vehicle less than 500 miles in about 41 days. Then on or about September 21, 2021, the vehicle broke down. The vehicle had to be towed to a Chevrolet dealership service center to be diagnosed and repaired. The vehicle was diagnosed with a CRACKED CYLINDER HEAD AND THE ENGINE HAD TO BE REPLACED!! I HAD NEVER HAD THIS HAPPEN TO ME!! A new engine and associated parts had to be ordered and with the auto parts shortage I had to wait a long time (over 3 months) for the vehicle to be repaired. The Chevy dealership service center estimated the repairs to be over $11,961.98 THIS WAS MORE THAN I PAID FOR THE VEHICLE!! A portion of the repairs would be covered by a powertrain warranty but the rest of the repairs I would have to pay out of pocket. I was in touch with the Used Car Manager Frank Koral at Riverfront and he represented to me that he would talk to management and "They would work out something with me" to contribute funds to the repair costs. We are now in the third week of December 2021 and the Riverfront Dealership is refusing to contribute any funds to the repair of the vehicle. This is outrageous!! I feel I have been misled and lied to by the Riverfront Dealership. I am demanding relief from the Riverfront Dealership to resolve this...it is the least that they can do after what I have been through. I am a consumer who has been ripped off. More
Called to see if I can bring my car in for oil change they told me it would be ok and it would take 1 to 1 1/2 hours they took 1 hour . I was very pleased and the customer service was great! I brought my new van in multiple times for a check engine light issue, after being told that the technician didn't know what the codes meant I was informed my car was probably safe to drive. A few days later, the light was on again, once again I was told it was probably safe to drive. A few minutes later I received a call saying new errors showed up when the screen refreshed and to bring the car back in. Another couple hours passed and I was informed the car was now un drivable. I was told I would receive a rental voucher while we waited for parts, but once again the story changed and the car is now safe to drive locally with no exact ETA on new parts, no loaner and no rental car. I think it's poor business practice to return a car to a customer that is not 100% drivable. I did not buy a brand new car to drive it locally, I expect to be able to drive any distance or receive a replacement car while I wait for parts. I understand that the parts are on backorder, I am frustrated with expecting to me accept a car that is not 100% drivable (drivable locally is not 100%) with no acceptable replacement. More
