Watch Them! My daughter was making her first car purchase and because we had purchased many vehicles from Riverton Chev before, decided that this was the place we My daughter was making her first car purchase and because we had purchased many vehicles from Riverton Chev before, decided that this was the place we wanted to go. After test driving a couple of vehicles, we decided on a Malibu. We went in to do the paperwork and we told them what the range of payment could be for her to be able to purchase this vehicle. They went to work on it and, after several negotiating attempts, came back with a price that would work for her. They said that this was because we were such loyal customers, that they were willing to make us this offer. At this time, the car was going to be financed for 72 months. We went in to work with the financial person and as she was about to sign the final papers, we noticed that they had changed the financing to 84 months. This was never part of the package. They were trying to get it through without us noticing. We decided not to buy the car and told them that we wanted to work with an honest company. Loyalty had nothing to do with it. They purposely changed the financing to 84 without telling us that upfront. The financial guy said that he didn't know anything about this and said that this is not the way they do their business. They tried to get us to come back by offering us a $650 GM coupon. Then later the next night they came up with an extra $350 GM coupon. Don was trying really hard. I thought with Aaron being an ex-policeman that he would be honest. We decided to buy elsewhere. More

My Sales Consultant was Nelson Smith who was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and kind. I took a lot of his time and he gladly gave it. Nelson made sure I knew who the contacts at the dealership were and made sure I was satisfied with my purchase, before I drove away in my new 2016 Chevrolet 2500 HD Silverado. I would recommend him highly to my friends and family. The Manager I worked with was Scott Railsback. He put together pricing and a trade in that beat the competition! I happened to be wearing a ball cap that read “Retired Army” and he asked how long I served. He came back with another substantial discount, this after he had already given me a price.
