Victim of Misrepresentation Paperwork signed and you drive home and over two months later you discover that the dealership want the vehicle back. Now your out of a down payment Paperwork signed and you drive home and over two months later you discover that the dealership want the vehicle back. Now your out of a down payment because now the dealer wants mileage 30-.35 per mile for the usage of the vehicle minus from the down payment. You sell your only vehicle and left holding the bag . How can a local dealership make a serious mistake not good business practice. Don't be a Victim of false/misleading representation Don't recommend buying from this dealership. Do not buy from here Shopping around for two 2016 vehicles. Got initial quotes from multiple dealers, including Riverton. They were not Best Price but decided to go back Shopping around for two 2016 vehicles. Got initial quotes from multiple dealers, including Riverton. They were not Best Price but decided to go back and give them a final chance, you know, buy local, right? As soon as the Sales Mgr saw the "other" quotes, he literally threw the paperwork back at me and said "you better go buy from them. They're not supposed to sell like that and if you get those prices I will give you 100 bucks". I hope he was serious about that because I do have solid quotes. Supremely unprofessional - I do not recommend anyone buying from here. More
Tried to buy a vehicle with them, got the runaround instead Contacted Riverton salesman regarding buying an SUV they had in stock. Described my trade in vehicle, sent vin # and pics. Explained all of this in advance as my time was very limited. Showed and and loved the vehicle they had for sale. Was offered an insulting much lower value for my vehicle than quoted over the phone. I understand they need to see the vehicle in person, but numbers should have been more accurate before they wasted my entire day! I was lied to. I have relatives in upper GM management and this bad review is only the start of my complaining. Serious management issues and a cavalier approach to a potential customer that just spent a day wasted on a bad faith deal. More
I took my 2013 Escalade in for the free service per my new car sales agreement. Plan is for oil/filter change, tire rotation, lubrication, and fluids check. I marked the front tires with dots to follow the rotation. They rotated the fronts straight to the back which is wrong , they are supposed to cross to the rear, rears straight forward. There were NO traces of grease on any grease zerts (I have pictures for proof).The front & rear diffs fluid levels were NOT checked (I have picture proof) nor was the transfer case. Tires were inflated to40 to 45 PSI, supposed to be 35 PSI. The reason I was cautious to inspect everything after service is because a friend of mine had a similar experience with his pick up truck. The service folks were friendly enough and on time, I reported the issues to the on duty Service writer, he offered to fix every thing. NO WAY why would I trust them again? I have my own "hobby shop" with a car lift and 50+ years mechanical experience so all I have stated is fact. I will not take my car back for service, no matter the "free" plan. More

They are the only game in town for GM products and service. Need to be compedative with outside dealers to retain local business. Service department is a mess meaning unclean and unorganized. Our loca service. Need to be compedative with outside dealers to retain local business. Service department is a mess meaning unclean and unorganized. Our local area is predominantly made up of miners who own HD pickups with diesels. They need to attrack the populace by having service specials geared towards the truck owner. Clean up the shop and make it look professional and make the parts department attractive to the auto owner. Display offroad items and run lift specials and car add-ons. These people make good money and want to show off thier vehicles. Parts and labor prices are up to 100% higher than Salt Lake GM dealers. Make the prices attractive enough to keep the work here. The sales group is just as bad. They need to attract the local buyers by offering what out of town cannot. The best bang for there money and best service backing it. Clean up the lot and showroom and offer a prize or incentive for buying local. Work with the people on financing and the sales staff need to know there product. They claim to be a GM super store but I see nothing super about it. I had to literally negociate my cost of servicing my truck down to 50% higher than out of town dealers. Oh and one more thing, I own a 2011 Cadallac SRX that I had to go to Las Vegas to purchase because the owner of Riverton felt we were high risk buyers. What a shame?? More
They won't work with you to make a deal. Offer was insulting. Sales lady was not familiar with vehicle, couldn't answer questions. Went somewhere else and got the deal I was looking for. insulting.
