Here it is 285k miles later,I'm forever grateful and glad I chose THIS Dealership to do my repairs! I bring my truck in for 1 problem and the mechanic Paul at Rizza showed me everything else I didnt see. But I knew my truck needed help that's I why brought it in. I believe in GMC and like said before I have no complaints about this truck. Because of this truck I saw the beautiful eastern coasts! Atlanta,Ga.,Tampa,Fla,Appalachian Mountains,Look Out Mountain,(1 of the best sites ever) Pa.,Double TT diner in Md. great food!! My GMC took me through all of this and to have all of the work done I can keep on rolling!!! It was money well spent!! Most definitely I will be buying next truck from this dealership.Thank you guys for great service and GMC for reliable trucks!!! Marty "Coach" Nowak Is An Outstanding Car Salesman This is a long review with good and bad so I wanted to share my experience/advice with readers. I just bought a used car from Rizza Buick GMC. Mar This is a long review with good and bad so I wanted to share my experience/advice with readers. I just bought a used car from Rizza Buick GMC. Marty Nowak (goes by Coach) is a genuinely nice and helpful salesman. They let me take an overnight test drive to show the family and get the car evaluated by a mechanic. I enjoyed everything about my dealings with Coach. The Catch: When it came time to buy things got less pleasant. This is the old school car buying experience so beware! If you came in because of the internet price, bring a printout...they had a much higher price if you just walked in so do your homework. Then, there's an unadvertised $960 "dealer prep" fee which only gets shared with the buyer at the negotiation. This is garbage and just adds to their negotiating position. The mananger I dealt with was Jim Allegretti. His negotiating style is to bully you and try to make you feel stupid...he'll spew pricing facts at you and imply you don't know what you're talking about. I don't put up with that nonsense so I let him pull his schtick and walk away. I stood my ground and was willing to walk away but lo and behold, there's Jim standing outside as I walk out (I'm thinking, are we really doing this?). After another 15 minutes of "I can't believe you're willing to walk away over $900, we made this idiot proof...(implying I'm an idiot? Really?)" we finally settled at a number. The car was very well priced to begin with so I'd have gotten to that price 30 minutes earlier if he was willing to engage in a respectful, intelligent negotiation. I don't mind negotiating and respect the dealership's need to make a profit. I didn't appreciate the manner in which they negotiated. It's an old/tired style that many dealers have abandoned and is why Carvana and CarMax exist. I, honestly, would have paid more if he would have been more professional...or had Coach be the point of contact. At all points, Coach was there to talk temper the manager's bluster. Coach is the reason I bought the car and would recommend Rizza provided you're prepared for the brain damage you'll go through to get a deal done. Last, I was promised a short warranty (to cover the a/c since it was too cold to test) as part of the deal. When I got to the point where I'm signing and about to pay for the car, the warranty turns out to be powertrain only and they wanted to upsell me to a warranty that would have covered what I was promised. When I said the deal was off unless I got what I was promised, the manager said that, if there was a problem, he'd vouch for me and they'd take care of it. That would have been very stupid on my part. Coach came to the rescue and had to make several trips back and forth to get me what I was promised. He worked really hard on this and I truly enjoyed my experience with him. One positive note on Jim Allegretti. After all of the hassle to get the car done, he got my other car washed. More
