End of lease/purchase of brand new vehicle. Dealership put pay off on wrong vehicle, causing a 4k balance on the lease with GM. Treated horrible when I called to figure out why and what happene Dealership put pay off on wrong vehicle, causing a 4k balance on the lease with GM. Treated horrible when I called to figure out why and what happened; mostly by general manager. Walked away with new car payment AND received a letter from GM stating my new balance with them. Forced to buy key warranty, that I did not want. Financing PUSHED HARD on additional warranties. This was my 21st new GM vehicle and I will never use this dealership again. More
On May 30th we purchased a car from Robert Brogden and traded in a vehicle for $20,000. We knew the vehicle was too big for our needs and said this, but was reassured that they have a 90 day money back gu traded in a vehicle for $20,000. We knew the vehicle was too big for our needs and said this, but was reassured that they have a 90 day money back guarantee and we could bring it back if we weren’t happy. We texted our salesmen that night and said we were not happy and wanted something smaller and more affordable. We came back on June 2nd. The first transaction we were told we needed all the warranties, but that all warranties were refundable and we could cancel at anytime and get our money back. Since we brought the vehicle back we asked for these to be refunded and were then told about $1500 was non-refundable. The business did trade us out for the new vehicle, however they told us the new vehicle would have a slight market adjustment. The only paper they showed us to go over price had a lot of different numbers with the trade in and was very confusing. I tried to ask questions and was told we would go over the final numbers with the finance person. With the finance person we stated we wanted no warranties and on the computer it had around $41,000 at this point. Therefore we thought without wanting warranties we would be at around $39,000. We were trying to finish quickly as we had our two young children. We felt the finance individual continued to distract by telling stories of individuals he knew in the military and not answering questions. We were given all documents on a zip drive and when we got home we pulled them up to see we had been charged $49,900. The vehicle we purchased was advertised online for $45,133 with certain rebates and without at $48,075. We were told there would be a slight market adjustment and we should have asked a lot more questions, but we did not think their market adjustment would be $6,000. They sold the car for $53,845, not at all for the advertised price and were not transparent. We did try to resolve finding out we were again charged for more warranties, but feel they should honor the advertised price. More
