It took 4 hours to complete a simple inspection. My Service Writer, Anthony Duke, was great and tried to move the process forward, but he is working within an inefficient, and antiquated system. I told them that I recently had an oil change and the oil they were seeing was mild spillage from the oil pan drain that gets caught in the underbody protective cover. They insisted and ran an oil leakage test (unauthorized by me). Of course, the test proved no oil leak. This added an additional 30 minutes to my 4-hour visit. Customer parking is abysmal with far more potholes than available parking spots. Most employees weren't very friendly and looked like they didn't want to be there. Four hours for a scheduled 15-minute inspection is unacceptable. More
Not sure what happened, but in the last few years, RCDJ has gone down hill significantly. The issue I had couldn't be replicated, so they couldn't do anything about it (I thought they were the 'experts?'). has gone down hill significantly. Conveniently, they found a few other issues, which is fine, but the price to repair these issues were outrageous. When I asked for clarity on how they arrived at the number, my service advisor basically told me "that's what the mechanics said" and there was no further explanation. When I brought it to a local mechanic, he basically laughed at the price I was quoted and agreed to do the work for less than half what jeep was going to charge me. Granted, I know it's always going to be a little more expensive at the dealer, but this was dramatically different. I'll have a real hard time bringing my jeep back to the dealer for any service, which is a shame, because for the first 8 years I owned my vehicle, they were great. Not sure what happened. TL;DR - Service has gone downhill and they overcharge you by at least double. More

I had a appointment for 10:00AM to fix my headrest. At 5:45PM after not hearing one word about the status of my vehicle, I reach out to the service department and have to leave a voice mail message bec At 5:45PM after not hearing one word about the status of my vehicle, I reach out to the service department and have to leave a voice mail message because no one picks up. I hear nothing so leave another voice mail message. And, another. And, another. A call to a live person leads them to transfer me to...someone’s voice mail system. I spent 30 minutes trying to find out the status of my vehicle. Finally, I get a call back with the good word—you don’t have the part and I will have to bring it back again. I brought my car in at 7:30AM! It takes over 10 hours to look at it and call me back?!? I believe if I did not leave 10 voice mail messages, I never would have heard back. Terrible communication. You need to have live people answering the phones and not rely on voice mails. Very disappointing after being a customer for many years. More
