When I purchased my "certified" pre-owned Ram 1500, I immediately noticed a few issues that should have been resolved prior to the vehicle being put on the lot for sale. I was happy with the rest of the vehicle and was told to schedule service to have the items taken care of. On my first visit I was told the GPS would have to be replaced, as it was showing that my vehicle was located ~50 miles east of Boston, MA (for context, I am in northern NJ). Every reset trick failed, so there was no other option. At that same time, still the first visit, I informed the service manager that the digital cluster was displaying image ghosting. I was told that they could not replicate the ghosting issue, and there was nothing they could do. I then got in my vehicle and showed the service manager how to replicate the ghosting issue, to which I was told to come back so they could test it further. Okay, a second trip was required anyway, since they would be replacing the GPS. When I come back for visit #2, the GPS was replaced and the ghosting issue was not resolved, as they had hoped it would "go away" with the GPS replacement (entire head unit needed to be swapped out). I was told to come back again so they could further diagnose. I've now spent 5 hours at the dealership, time I will never get back, as they attempted to "fix" my issues. At least the GPS was working correctly now. I come back for visit #3 a few days later. On this visit I inform them that I will be waiting for my vehicle, as I did the first 2 times. About 4 hours later I'm told they haven't looked at my vehicle because they didn't know I would be waiting. Great... They finally look at my truck and can't fix the issue, so I'm told I need to come back again so they can replace the digital cluster. I schedule service for a week later. Come back for visit #4, 11 hours of my time now wasted. After another 4 hours I'm told that nobody ever ordered the replacement cluster, no other dealerships nearby have any in stock, and that it is on a national backorder. Now we're up to 15 hours of my life, gone. I'm told I will get a call when the part arrives. Almost 5 weeks later I'm told the cluster has arrived and to come in immediately as it's been at the dealership almost 30 days and will be returned if I don't come in before the 30th day to have it installed. See, what had happened was (my FAVORITE phrase) my service rep was out, sick, and nobody picked up his customers to ensure service continuity. Great... So, on to visit #5. I arrive, early, and I'm one of the first vehicles in. I tell them I want a loaner, at no cost, otherwise I have to wait. I'm told there are no loaners. OK, I'll wait again. After 6 hours they finally tell me unary they've replaced the cluster, but that it didn't fix the ghosting issue. I've spent 21 hours at your service center, and you fixed 1 of my 2 issues. I don't care about my 3 "free" oil changes. I will pay good money to NEVER go back to your service center. Oh, and I'm a REPEAT CUSTOMER! Suffice it to say that I will also never buy another vehicle from this dealership again. More

The people at the dealership were nice and professional. This rating is not a reflection of them. The only downside is the amount of time it takes to get everything done. The customer sits and waits too much. 1.5 - 2 hrs is too long for buying out a lease especially when the bulk of the time is spent sitting around waiting. It is always like this so from the customer's perspective, there seems to be no effort at streamlining the process. More
