I’ve always tried to stay clear of this place mainly because of all the reviews and horror stories I’ve heard from friends. Unfortunately I fell victim to the service department. It is extremely dif because of all the reviews and horror stories I’ve heard from friends. Unfortunately I fell victim to the service department. It is extremely difficult to get anyone on the phone. My vehicle was dropped off there for a vehicle diagnosis. My turn signals weren’t working as a result of a car accident. My car gets dropped off and I am being told by service advisor John Garcia that my car is being worked on and they can’t figure out the problem. 4 weeks go by. No one answers the phone and I have to actually go there numerous times. Surprisingly John isn’t there anymore for whatever reason. My new advisor pretty much tells me the car hasn’t been touched since it was dropped off. Supposedly we were told that they wouldn’t be able to diagnose the car for a couple weeks. Two advisors, same service department and two totally different explanations given regarding what’s going on with my car. New advisor says it was scheduled for 4/26/23. On 5/3/23 the car still hasn’t been looked at. Of coarse no one picks up the phone there or returns your messages. I took my car back and went to the Jeep Dealer in Ramsey. It literally took them ONE DAY to figure out what the issue was and have it repaired. The service department is horrible at Rockland Jeep. They yes you to death and say “ I understand” when your upset about the lousy service. I’m legit convinced they don’t care about the service their customers receive. If anyone from Rockland Jeep service department is reading this, don’t bother to leave your pre-written reply to this review. You don’t value my feedback, you’re not sorry I went through this and no I don’t want to talk with someone to correct the situation. It’s too late. You couldn’t even be honest and say “yea that advisor messed up and I’m sorry he gave you misinformation.” Terrible! More
***Stay Away*** I am extremely displeased with the service I received at your dealership. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership, and I am worse off than when I originally broug service I received at your dealership. It was the worst experience I have ever had with a dealership, and I am worse off than when I originally brought my car in. The issue with my car was not resolved, and now there is a new check engine light. Here are my points: • I brought the car in for diagnosis and to bleed the radiator. I had an appointment Thursday, April 27 at 9:45 AM, but it was not seen by a tech until late Friday afternoon despite dropping it off the night before. • When I picked the car up on Saturday, I heard the same issue with the heating system and found out that the engine cover was missing. I was told that they would not be able to look at it until Monday, and they would look for the engine cover. • I made another appointment for the following week, and I was told that it would be seen immediately. However, there was no communication from your end. I had to call a few days later and found out that the car had not been seen yet, and it would not be seen until Monday. • I called again on Monday afternoon and was told that the car was going to be next in line, but it most likely would not be finished on Monday and would run into Tuesday. I informed the advisor that I needed the car by Tuesday, so I rented a car for May 9. • I called on Tuesday at 4:30 PM and was told that the vehicle had not been looked at yet. After renting a car to accommodate your dealership's delays, I found it very upsetting that the car hadn't been looked at. • He called me back and said that the car actually had been looked at, but the tech couldn't log it into the system, and he would do a final check the following morning. Clearly the car was not seen. • The service advisor called me on Wednesday morning and said that they didn't hear any swishing or gurgling from the heater core, and the engine cover somehow appeared on the car. However, it's not my engine cover, and the replacement cover used is clearly older and beat up. • After finally getting in the car and driving around the building, I informed the advisor that I could still hear the symptoms, but he told me not to worry because it's normal. I know it's not normal, but I wasn't about to let my car stay at your dealership any longer. • On the ride home, which is only about 3 miles, the temperature gauge went up to ¾ and the fan kicked on, which is not normal and clearly my problems have not been resolved. On top of all this inconvenience the car is worse off (check engine, old beat-up engine cover) than before I dropped it off the first time. Communication was extremely poor through the entire process. I would never recommend anyone bring their business to Rockland Jeep. More
