Hello, I’d like to address your comments. As someone in law enforcement, I would hope you understand the importance of following procedures. You came in for two recalls and a check engine light issue. Our standard procedure is to inform all customers of the diagnostic fee, which was clearly communicated and acknowledged by you. Your advisor also mentioned that your warranty has expired. The following day, you were informed that further diagnostic testing was needed to determine the cause of the misfires, which required additional tear-down time. You declined this further testing, meaning a full diagnosis could not be completed. You called back shortly afterward to berate the advisor about the diagnostic fee. It is simply unrealistic to expect our technicians not to be compensated for their time diagnosing your reported concern. I trust that when you go to work, you expect to be compensated for your time. Your personal attacks on both myself and my advisors' character are completely unjustified. If we were truly attempting to deceive you, then why was the cost of diagnostic testing made clear to you upfront, and why were you given the option to decline further tear-down work? Regarding your comment about the misfire in cylinder 1 still being active, this is a factual statement. Our technicians reached the point in their diagnostic process where they determined that they needed to tear down the cylinder head to accurately pinpoint the cause of failure. We remain dedicated to ensuring that all our customers receive thorough, honest service, which we will continue to provide with transparency and integrity. Maria, you’re speaking of transparency, integrity and procedure. I was not informed that my warranty was over until it was over the phone. Kevin apologized on the phone for being wrong about the CEL needs to be serviced first before any recall can be completed. And obviously if the first interaction was recorded then you would be apologizing just like your advisor. Kevin stated that the CEL will most likely be covered by the recall. When the codes were ran I should have been notified that those codes have NOTHING to do with the recall prior to the diagnostics. So there was no business looking any further. I do not care about you or Kevin at a personal level. This feedback is a review of MY experience for CONSUMERS to understand the misleading information I was given at the first interaction with Kevin so they can decide if they should bring their vehicles in for servicing at this service center.
