I exercised my purchase option on my lease. Infiniti charged an purchase option of $300, which was documented, and dealer jumped in for $699 document fee, not documented. Was truly upset after leasing 5 cars from them and using there shop services exclusively since at least 2006, that they would give some break. It’s tough when all hard costs were changed and layer $699 on top. Their response it’s what we charge everyone the doc fee and don’t want to upset anyone by not charging you. Like anyone would know, very lame, wanted the fee. Otherwise I have had a good relationship with the dealer until exercising the purchase option. The lease was for 42,000 miles, I had used 16,500. Covid-19 issued. I was disappointed that Infiniti hit me up for $1,000 to exercise the lease purchase option. Since they charged all the hard costs in addition to the fees, it was hard to take. I will buy a new car, may go elsewhere for car and service. Regards Ralph Infante More
