Recently, I had been shopping for a car (new or used) and was very familiar with the Roush Honda dealership. I had found a Certified Used 2012 White Honda Civic that had 8k miles. I had went to Roush Honda and spoke to a saleswoman, Lori Stohofer. I fell in love with the car and the clean carfax helped with the sale. When looking over the body of the car the day of the purchase my grandfather (cosigner) and I had stumbled upon a few paint chips that we figured were due to rocks hitting the bumper. We had gone over all the work and repair that had been done to the car. One repair that caught us off guard was that both the front tires had been replaced. When propmted for a reason, Lori had told us that the previous owner must've gotten a flat and to balance out the tire he had put on, they decided to replace both front tires. Fair enough, we understood. About a month into having the car, after every rain storm, more and more paint started chipping off. When driving more than 45 mph the car obviously showed signs of needing an alignment. Also the body and hood of the car did not match up in alignment. I took the car back to Roush to have it examined and have the repairs made and I asked if there was any possibility the car had been in an accident. I was advised the car definitely wasnt but they would have the body shop inspect it and also have all the paint work fixed. Sure enough, a manager J Ronard contacted me with the devestating news. The car had "unproper welding" to the frame, but they had fixed all the paint chips. I asked that they provide me with a car of my choice with similar pricing and call it even. That however was not something they wanted to do. So, we came to the conclusion that I wanted a refund, and they agreed. HOWEVER, a month later while browsing their website, they are reselling that SAME car for more than $1000 than what I had paid for it and also fail to mention the damage that was found on the car. They also stated that the car was a one owner clean car fax which is false. They have been nothing but an inconvenience and an unreliable business and I would not recommend anyone to take a step into that dealership. It will be the biggest waste of time and money. More

The dealership owner spoke with us and gave a decent offer for our trade-in. I think it could have been more but I realize I'm just the seller trying to save money. He was fair, personable and professional in handling the transaction. The shop got our purchased automobile ready in one day and paid attention to the details that we required for the car to be road ready and drivable for our son to drive back to school, which is six hours away. Everything was explained in relation to warranties and what the dealership would be responsible for. I was impressed with the service and staff and would definitely suggest this dealership to anyone desiring to purchase a new or used car. I purchased a used car but the service was excellent. The whole process was streamlined and well organized when dealing with the finance department. All forms where explained and organized so that we could walk out with all documentation in hand. I walked away from the dealership feeling that I had made a good purchase. With the kind of service that I received I would have been willing to pay more. We bought our first Honda from Roush in 1997, and traded it in this week, for a Honda Element. In all those years (since '97), my husband and I frequently said that since we'd experienced the care and cour it in this week, for a Honda Element. In all those years (since '97), my husband and I frequently said that since we'd experienced the care and courtesy and terrific service at Roush Honda, we'd never go anywhere else. Naturally, when it was time to trade in that '97 car...we didn't even consider another dealership. Why would we? There simply couldn't be better service, or a more helpful team. In buying this used Honda Element (which was a car I'd wanted for a variety of reasons--and I'm really sorry Honda doesn't make them anymore), I got an incredible amount of help from Lori Strohofer. Who kept an eye out for a good deal for me, with everything I needed in the car. I'm very appreciative of her help and the whole experience was incredibly easy, and also made me feel as if I had the support and the reliability--which I already had enjoyed--of the whole Roush Honda team behind me. More
