We want to clarify that your Jeep Grand Cherokee 4xe was brought to our service department twice, and during both visits, our certified technicians were unable to duplicate the concerns described. On one of those occasions, a Stellantis field engineer also inspected the vehicle alongside our team and confirmed that no issues were found at that time. As the vehicle has not been in our care in over two years, we encourage you to continue working directly with Stellantis Customer Care for further assistance and resolution. Your response continues the same pattern of avoidance that has defined this entire experience — a complete refusal to accept responsibility or accountability for an obviously defective and unsafe vehicle. This dealership was informed immediately after purchase that the vehicle had severe and reproducible defects. The salesperson personally witnessed the issues, acknowledged them, and even went to plead with the sales manager on my behalf. The manager refused to inspect the car, refused to even step outside, and instead held up a business card and said, “Call the manufacturer.” That dismissive, scripted gesture represents everything wrong with how this dealership operates — passing blame to Stellantis, denying clear evidence, and abandoning the customer the moment a problem arises. all to protect a commision. The documentation and service records show that during service visits, your technicians drove fewer than 5 miles total — a distance insufficient to reproduce the air-conditioning failure, which occurs only after 20–50 miles of real driving. No tests were conducted under different lighting or weather conditions, despite pictures, videos and testimony of others and my written explanation that the HUD mirror misalignment causes dangerous veiling glare in tunnels, bridges, and daylight. Other Jeep service centers have since confirmed that the HUD mirror assembly is improperly installed and misaligned within its casing, projecting light and reflections directly into the driver’s forward line of sight. This is not a matter of opinion — it is a verified installation defect that creates a serious safety hazard and violates the manufacturer’s own design specifications. The air-conditioning system’s failure to maintain cooling and defrost capability has also been documented by other Jeep owners and linked to known safety-related recalls. For over two years, this vehicle has remained in Jeep’s custody. I have paid on a car that has been undrivable, unsafe, and unrepaired — all while caring for disabled children and elderly parents who depend on reliable transportation. The refusal of Route 18 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram to take accountability constitutes negligence, bad faith, and a violation of consumer protection and warranty laws, including the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act and the New Jersey Consumer Fraud Act (N.J.S.A. 56:8-2). You were made aware of the problems immediately. You chose to ignore them. You now continue to misstate the record publicly rather than act in good faith. I therefore expect — as both a consumer and a citizen protected under New Jersey law — a full replacement of this defective vehicle or reimbursement of the purchase price, all towing fees, storage fees, rental car fees, banking finance fees insurance fees without further delay.
