I cannot stress enough how utterly disappointed I am with Route 18 auto and the service manager Chris Lardieri. From dodging calls to outright lies, his behavior is nothing short of appalling, and I strongly advise anyone considering this place to steer clear at all costs. First and foremost, attempting to reach Chris Lardieri is akin to trying to communicate with a ghost. Countless unanswered calls and ignored messages have left me feeling frustrated and abandoned. It's as if my concerns and inquiries were tossed into a black hole, never to be acknowledged or addressed. But the real nightmare begins when you do manage to get ahold of him. Instead of genuine assistance or transparency, you're met with a barrage of lies and deceit. Chris Lardieri's modus operandi seems to be promising the world and delivering nothing but disappointment. What's worse is his blatant disregard for honesty, as he shamelessly peddles false assurances and fabrications without batting an eye. It's abundantly clear that Chris Lardieri operates like a scam artist, preying on unsuspecting customers who are simply seeking reliable auto service. Trust me when I say that Route 18 Auto under his management is a trap waiting to ensnare the unwary. The lack of integrity and professionalism displayed by him is downright shameful and should serve as a warning to all potential patrons. In conclusion, if you value your time, money, and sanity, do yourself a favor and stay far away from Route 18 Auto as long as Chris Lardieri is at the helm. Save yourself the headache and anguish of dealing with his callous indifference, dishonesty, and fraudulent practices. I was there to purchase a used car as a back up to my primary car. I arrived pre-qualified for financing through my bank. I was paired with Daniel, my salesperson (great guy)! I went to the dealership to avoid the antics and tricks of the smaller used car lots. I was met the EXACT same experience that I tried to avoid. Aaron is the typical used car salesman turned manager that comes with the warning signs of mistrust and he did not disappoint! I want to think that this is a systemic issue with the dealership but I can't be sure. Beware when dealing with him. The car I was interested in had some issues and Aaron actually wanted me to pay him to rectify the issues, not to mention he's asking for nearly the full book value. The most concerning issue is that whatever interest rate the bank is giving you Aaron added 1.75% on top of it. Example, the bank gave me 6% financing but Aaron told me 7.75%. Very shady! That equated to nearly $70 more per month to my payment. They assured me that this was legal. It may be legal but it's definitely immoral in my opinion. You would think that there's a difference from the smaller used car lots, but here at Rt 18 Jeep it's the same thing. They don't sell good used cars that you expect from a dealer. They simply sell cars.. No different from the local car lot on the corner. More
