Service Advisor Peter C...la was extremely rude I own a 2004 Honda Odyssey which I bought new, at Route 22 Honda at Hillside NJ. This is my second Honda vehicle. I bought this vehicle in 2004 and at I own a 2004 Honda Odyssey which I bought new, at Route 22 Honda at Hillside NJ. This is my second Honda vehicle. I bought this vehicle in 2004 and at that time. I was given $9.95 oil change coupon for the life of the van. So, I have been bringing my minivan for service to Route 22 Honda Service center for last 14 years. Previous service advisors have been very courteous and on couple of occasions, they even gave me free oil change even though my coupon price was for $9.95 But Mr. C...la was extremely rude. He did not even look at my account. He assumed I was there for free oil-change as my previous oil-change was free. I was willing to pay coupon price. But, he said I need to pay $39.95 because I am not getting service done at Route 22. I told him that last time when I brought the van for service, only advice was to replace the tires. But, I had to replace tires at some other store because of emergency. He insisted he cannot give me the coupon price and instead, I must pay full price of $39.95. I am not driving this van much lately because my wife works from home, we have 2 other cars and so on an average we put less than 5000 miles per year. There is no need for lot of service since it is not driven much. Since he was insulting me, I asked to see the manager. He said that manager is not in yet as appointment was at 8:20 AM. Then, I told him he is being unprofessional. Mr. C…la said he needs proof of the coupon for next oil change. But, no service advisors had asked for proof of coupon during my previous visits over 14 years. He said he is going to give me $9.95 this one time and next time he needs proof for coupon price. At the end, he did not charge me for the oil change. I felt so humiliated, insulted and felt like man handled. This was a very bad experience More
