I had a very bad experience at route 22 Honda. They quoted me a great price on a new Honda Civic LX, if I came in and bought it that day. I told them it was a deal. I sat around for about an hour, but was then brought the paperwork for the car. It all looked good, just as agreed upon. I signed the paperwork, but they said the car would not be ready that night. They did promise me that they would have it ready the next morning and deliver it to my house. I secured the cashier check for the amount of the car--as agreed upon in the signed contract. I also secured insurance. The car did not come at the time agreed upon. I called several times, and the response was the same "the car is just about ready". Finally at about 7:30pm, I called and asked what the problem was. My salesman told me that they could no longer honor the contract, and that it would cost $1000 more than agreed upon. I asked to speak to the manager, but was put on hold with no response. Very very unprofessional. Do not trust their words or contracts--they do not honor them. More

luis rosero is a shitty salesman. When he found out how much my payment would be, he assumed i wouldn't be able to pay it.I left several messages for Luis since my car doesn't have a manual & its been 5 mo much my payment would be, he assumed i wouldn't be able to pay it.I left several messages for Luis since my car doesn't have a manual & its been 5 months without a return call or manual! The only reason I was able to get A good deal was i approached a finance officer Ben & told him my situation & he helped me. I won't reccomend route 22 honda of hillside unless you can speak to Ben directly!!! More
I'm glad I stopped by this dealership cause Mohammed made me realize it was better to lease a new Accord than look for a temp used car for about the same amount of money per month. My base line Accord has wa me realize it was better to lease a new Accord than look for a temp used car for about the same amount of money per month. I went to rt 22 Honda on 7/26/11 cause I was in need of a new vechile. My sales rep tj showed a 07 Pontiac that I was in love with I asked to test drive the car the car would start tj said don't worry the ba new vechile. I trusted him and said no problem while he went to get a jump pack to start the car it took a hour for them to get the car start several other employees came to assist with starting this car we finally got the car started it drove pretty good for a used car before I finalized my purchased I asked them to change the battery in the car tj said no it's nothing wrong with the battery it just was dead. I said to him that battery needs to be changed no battery takes that long to charge he assured me everything would be fine and again I trusted him and drove home with the car. The next morning i went to start the car it wouldn't start not even a crank I called my sales agent and also spoke to his manager Ron told them about my issue about how they sold me lemon if they would of listened to in the first place i wouldn't have been inconvienced, so they send tj and a service guy name jessy it took them alil over a hour to get to me it was scorching hot waiting for them when they arrived it took them 30 mins to start the car then the story became sorry Mrs. Elliott we' ll fixed your battery right away. I told them if this was done yesterday like I asked this all of this could have been avoided. After the disappointment of the vechile and my sales agent i was no longer interested in that car or any other car. They ended up selling me 07 Honda accord. Things at rt 22 Honda went from being bad to worst both cars theyhaggled the price on me the fiancé manage Adel told me I had to get gap insurance the millennium pack, theft protection and car rental coverage itold him on several occasions I didn't want anything extra he told I had to get it he was very adamant and pushy about it. I explained to him on how i dont need theft protection or car rental coverage because it's coverd in my car insurance. They have things on my contract that I didn't sign off on somthing about a service contract for 1300.00 they haggled the price on me big time. Im so unhappy with the service I received from Honda this is not the end of this My lawyer is now involved. Buying a car is suppose to be a celebration it's been nothing but a disaster. I went back to the dealership after speaking to my lawyer who told me the contract didn't look right then she informed me on how they can't make me get anything I spoke to someone name Ben because Adel wasn't there I explained to him how they messed up my documents my documents say I have a 4 dr when I have a 2 dr I told him I need docs with the proper information regarding the car I also informed him that I didn't want the millennium pack or car rental coverage or the theft protection he said if I didn't take the following they were going to change the car price back to 15100 when they told me I was getting the car for 14500. I'm so upset of the devilish intent of this dealership. When told ron the sales manager how dissatisfied with the level of service I received I was going to let dealer rater know about his response was if you give me a good rating I'll give you a free service if you don't I can't help you. How bout you make happy about the purchase of my vechile. I could give a damn about a free oil change. They took advantage of me I'm reporting this to bbb, consumer affairs etc I'm sure I'm not the only person this have been done to this matter has now become a civil suit. I suggest anyone buying a car do not go here unless you a lawyer present because they are thieves. More
