cold face , fake promises I visited there, because they are rated number 1 dealer in New Jersey and though it will be good idea to buy car from them. I am wrong, hear my experi I visited there, because they are rated number 1 dealer in New Jersey and though it will be good idea to buy car from them. I am wrong, hear my experience with them. I had very bad experience visiting their dealership. I wanted to buy new car Accord or CRV. I asked them if they can beat the price promise offer which I have from another dealer. I sent the price promise certificates to them, and talk over phone if they can beat the price. Sales person Carlsen has forwarded my call to his boss, and his boss has agreed to beat the price which I have. And asked me to visit their dealership. I went there after my long day of work, I met with Sales person Carlsen Boncouer, he is straight forward and started working on OTD price (with same price promise number I have) , I liked his straight forward approach . We came to final number. Then I asked him that ‘at what way’ that he can beat my price promise offer. I suggested few options if they are not reducing OTD price. He turned down all my suggestion s, eventually I agree with him because I liked final number. Finally I asked if they can at least reduce documentation fee. He went there to check. Then the sale game was started, Carlsen came with another sale rep (Ron Wood who came with cold faced) .Ron stated saying that the final number does not included destination and handling fee. He was telling that customer is responsible for 2 D&H fee, what the heck. One is for honda and another is dealer , it is totally unaccepted. I never heard there will be 2 types D&H fee, around 820 + 820(??). Price promise certificate is included D&H fee , I had reviewed the same with their boss on phone. His boss also confirmed that price promise certificate has included D&H fee. Finally the called their boss, boss denied to sell the car to me and they asked me to leave. Next day, I received email from Carlsen , he was telling that they will lose profit if the sell the car for that number. Did not they aware of it before they asked me to come over? , why they came with final number, and then denied to sell car? , they think I will buy car whatever they say at sale game? I did more and more research in internet and looking to buy new car at fair price. Like dealer try to get thousands of thousand profits, as buyer I also try to save few hundreds. Again final number is doable only; I can see consumer discussion about OTD price in internet. It is fair price only. In my openion, Carlsen Boncouer is good person; I can see that he tried his best. But I really don’t like the game they played after wards. I suspect that number 1 dealer rating is fake. Full of game. Be aware. More

Authentic customer welcoming; fact not hype based car and sales info; creative problem solving; honorable negotiations; clarity and integrity in the math; desire that customer is fully informed and drives away in their new car safe + satisfied; and genuinely value and appreciate relationship thus treat customers as real people~more than close this sale. This is my 3rd car from them and each time they only improve on an already great dealership. Staff sticks around for years which is amazing and says a lot too. Ray again awesome as my sales person! He was point person for the whole process-keeping it simple, sane and low key; actively informing each step along the way; detail education about model options and then facilitating linkages with other team members and departments. An Sunny made this one so easily happen! He is a master educator, great negotiator, and meticulous in business/ finance. Ron had a kind hello, remembered me from earlier cars, and shared congrats as I left with this new one. This place works as a well run team; even staff with no direct involvement checked in, offered beverages, thumbs up and smiles. THANK YOU Route 23 Honda! More

She was so helpful, to the point, ready with answers to my questions. (And she was right when she said they were "fun" people.) I was provided with the information I needed without any back and forth that usually goes on at car dealerships. Jamie and Ron helped me get the numbers I needed, details about the car I was interested in, and even had the car readily available to check out. The experience made me change my mind about stepping into an automobile showroom, especially Route 23 Honda. I will strongly recommend Route 23 Honda, and their terrific salespeople, Jamie Panariello and Ronald Wood. Jamie went a step further to show me the comparison chart for features of similar vehicles. One gentleman went to get a car for me to look at the color. He washed it before he brought it out so I could really see it. Unnecessary but much appreciated. I bought a CR-V and got a great deal. I met the owner and she was also wonderful. Sunny made the financial piece painless. Spoke to me for a while without making me think she wanted to be somewhere else doing something else.
