I never once thought they were trying to get 'one over' on us as we have experienced with other dealerships. I thank them for the patience and expertise and smoothness that was executed in getting a car that I really love. Felt diagnostic was a scam My first visit to Rt 23 Honda, I told them the battery light was on. Mike Murphy asked if anything had been changed, I told him alternator. He then asked if the replaced alternator was aftermarket or OEM. At this point to me it felt as if he had already had his mind set on telling me the alternator was bad because it was aftermarket. Told me it would cost $30 to check. After 1 hour, tells me the alternator is bad. He redeems himself by providing copies of test receipts for battery and alternator which I could then appreciate. Mike was very professional and I felt taken care of by him. He also shared with me his background in the industry and his experience with after market parts. I then hunt down an OEM alternator from another Honda dealership in Union. I install it myself because Rt 23 Honda wanted to charge me $300 for labor which was ridiculous. I installed Honda alternator in 1-1/2 hours and guess what, battery light is still on. Go back to Rt 23 Honda and they offer to re-test for free. This time they only provided me with battery test recpeits. After 3 hours, they tell me that alternator, starter, and battery are good but never checked to see if the battery icon is still on. They give me a loaner and feed me bologne that they are going to have another technician look at it. Next day I call to get the status of the car. Again more bologne, Kelly says she just talked to the technician and asks me if the alternator is new and is it OEM from Honda, what! Why would they need this information? Seems like to me she needs some background to help her decide what weak explanation she is going to feed me. Calls me back 10 minutes later, and tells me the alternator is bad however, this time no test receipts were given to me. What changed from alternator test on Saturday saying it was good to Monday alternator test saying it was bad? This was asked and nobody could answer. When asked for explanation the only answer received is that there isn't a manager in. These people are full of it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! After about 5 hours of waiting and 3 days having to drive out there, my car still has the same battery icon lit on the dashboard and now continues to sit in my garage. Talk about bad service and feeling used. On receipt says to call Lou Popek for any problems. After 3 calls and 5 days later he finally returns my call. But not before, speaking with Andrea Schmidt who says Lou is no longer with them. They both tell me to go in that they will take care of me however, neither of them acknowledged me when I went in and both stuck me behind in line to deal with Kelly who is dealing with all fifteen customers in the waiting room. These people need to get their stuff straight. This is poor management skills in my opinion and would not waste hard earned cash to these clowns. More

best car buying experience I had very little time to invest in buying my 2015 CRV and Alton Brown was a pleasure to work with. Of course I did my "homework" as to the features of the CRV so when it came time to test drive and purchase I was ahead of the game. Selecting the color I wanted was the most challenging for me (of course, I'm a woman!) Alton's salesmanship experience with a no pressure approach was refreshing and made for an excellent experience. Natasha and her managers had done the deal with me on the phone and told me to just see John. After meeting him I could see why Natasha asked me to see him. He was respectful, courteous, and prompt. The car came with dealer installed accessories that I didn't want but because I was given a significant discount I ended up taking them. On my drive home in the car I was happy to have the extra add ons. Route 23 Honda understood not everyone who walks through there doors can afford a car like the one I got so they understood very well I wanted to be in and out. With three kids I didn't have much time. for those who have good credit I would recommend getting pre-approved by Honda financial and then walking in. Car dealers are people too the don't get paid if they don't sell. This was my 20th car I have bought for myself or my family. John was great in explaining all the options to my wife while I was picking the car up. He made sure It would not take more then a hour for the pick up. My experience was a good one. I would most definitely give him a chance first on a another Honda when I'm in the market. More

We decided to go to Route 23 Honda because we had a few friends and family recommend them to us. It was the best decision we ever made. We got a phenomenal deal and it was a great experience. Ron and all of the others work with you so well that you cannot help but feel very satisfied with the deal. My husband and I would high recommend anyone considering a Honda to go to this dealership first. The others around the area are a waste of time. More
So glad to join the Route 23 Honda Family! From the moment I walked in to Route 23 Honda on January 29, 2015, I was made to feel welcome, first by the receptionist, and then by Dino Riccio. I was at a crossroads with a car that with very high mileage was now costing lots of money in regular repairs, but still, I was not sure I was ready to buy. Dino listened first, ( I really appreciated that!), and never pressured me. He simply gave me the facts about the incredible SUV that the Honda CRV is, ( most of which I already knew from my own research), and continued to answer my questions on our test drive. When I presented him with the numbers I had researched for what I expected to pay, he agreed, but still no pressure. I took the night to think about it, and called him back in the morning. When I returned to pick up my new Honda CRV today, January 31, again, I was made to feel most welcome. Everyone I dealt with was professional and kind. I want to give 2 big shout outs...first to Dino Riccio! Thank-you Dino, for ALL the time you spent with me, and for your honesty, integrity, and compassion. The 2nd shout out goes to Fred Mehler, the finance and sales manager! He explained in detail everything I needed to sign, but was incredibly kind and compassionate as well. Thank-you Fred for your patience and kindness...it meant a lot to me. I have no doubt that Route 23 Honda will be my "car" home for many years to come! More
