Over the years I have purchased many vehicles of various makes from a variety of different dealerships. I recently purchased my first Honda from Route 23 Honda. The entire encounter was by far the most pleasurable I have ever experienced. Nikki definitely made me feel at ease and that she was truly concerned with my best interest. Her knowledge of the product was exceptional and her ability to explain so many details in both “layman’s” terms and, when required, in technical terms, was definitely impressive and reassuring. We then sat with Mr. Fred Mehler, to work out the financial details and again we were pleasantly surprised by his obvious concern as to what would be most advantageous for us. Congratulations to Route 23 Honda on such a courteous and knowledgeable staff. I have already recommended Route 23 Honda to friends and family, and will continue to recommend them to anyone who will listen. Thank you Nikki and Route 23 Honda for such a pleasurable experience. I lost my 2012 Dyno Blue 4DR Honda Civic during Hurricane Sandy and immediately knew that once the aftermath of the storm was over, that I was going to go right back to Honda to get my same car. My original Honda Civic was leased to me by a gentleman named Stephen Mains. He was at a different dealership when I leased my original Honda Civic and I knew that he was the man I needed to go to in order to my my NEW Honda Civic. I found out that Stephen Mains was no longer at Route 22 Honda and I sought out to find what dealership he was currently working at. Turns out he was 65 minutes north from my residence at Route 23 Honda. I made sure to get in contact with Stephen because not only did I need a car, but my father, who also lost his car in Hurricane Sandy, need a vehicle. Stephen Mains took care of us both and that meant a lot to my father and I despite the loss of our cars in the storm. Stephen was kind enough to give me a call and ask if I wanted the same car and in what color so that the car would be parked in front of the dealership when I arrived. As well, Stephen's efforts went far beyond what I could have expected when he was able to get me a great price on my monthly lease. Losing my first brand new car after only 8 months of purchase was rough, but getting a second one was made easy by Stephen Mains. Stephen's patience, concern and advice meant a lot to both my father and I. Stephen made sure every question was answered thoroughly, every car my father wanted to drive went for a test run, and any ounce of concern was addressed. Stephen spent a great deal of his day on my father and I and we left that dealership, both driving brand new Honda vehicles. I would recommend anybody to see Stephen Mains at Route 23 Honda. He was awesome! More
I am thrilled with my new purchase- My Honda CRV. I lost my car in the recent Storm Sandy and was shopping to replace my Toyota Rav4. Started off on line and after a few conversations w other dealers, I found Route 23. Not only were my interactions professional from the beginning, I felt like I was treated like family. Carlos is not new to car sales but new to honda and the dealership. He got to know my needs and concerns, price range and made the process easy and practically stress free. He checked in on me along the way as I waited for my insurance check. After I drove home with my beautiful new car he checked in to give me info on a website we discussed later that evening. I highly recommend Carlos as a wonderful salesman and Route 23 Honda. More

After meeting with Alton Brown we know why our brother in law stays with this dealership. The service was wonderful and everyone made us feel like they cared and understood what we had been thru. Mr. Alton Brown was very friendly and made the whole experience a very pleasant and because of our experience with him and the others at Route 23 Honda we would recommend this dealership to our friends and family. I would certainly recommend Route 23 Honda and also Heivy Gomez when in the market for a vehicle. The service I have always received from the dealership has always been great, which is why I usually bring a Gomez when in the market for a vehicle. Eric was very helpful in helping me identify the best car for me. My Honda Civic had recently been totaled in an accident and Eric was very understanding and not pushy in any way. I have been dealing with Rt 23 Honda since 2001, after buying my first of many Honda Accord. Over the years I have the seen the dealership evolve in to a less pushy casual atmosphere. I have also seen the improvements they have done to keep customers coming back to have their cars serviced by their technicians. I had the pleasure of working with Scott Simon. He is the type of salesman that is definitely looking out for the customers best ineterest. If your a first time buyer and want to deal with some one who is honest and looking out for your best interest, Mr Simon is your salesperson. In conclusion, the dealership has a great fleet of used cars. Their pricing on used vehicles are quite competitive and really appeal to a variety of taste. More
Before coming to route 23 honda I have read many reviews about dealers in the area. Many of those were very negative and I expected a hostile environment in which I would be pressured into spending more mon about dealers in the area. When we (my wife and my 2 year old daughter) walked into the place, the first person I met was Carlos DaSilva. He was very pleasant and happy looking person. We told him that we were just looking (not a great thing for a sales person to hear) and wanted to see different cars and colors that they offered. He showed us all the cars we wanted to see, he was very accommodating and patient with us, even though I told him that we were considering other brands and dealerships. After about 2 hours I gave him my phone number, but asked him not to call me (since I do not like to be reminded that I need to buy something). Then we just walked out. Carlos kept his promise and never called me. I felt no pressure at all. So in a week when I was ready, I went over there with my family. Carlos was very patient as my daughter was going a little crazy (for some reason she can not sit still). He told us about color options that we had and showed us more cars. And when we saw all the options we had, we decided to buy a car. Overall we had a pleasant experience, my daughter was playing in their children room half the time. The other half, she was running around the dealership, and no one said anything bad or looked at her in a bad way. This made me happy. I will definitely give their service department a shot, even though I live about 20 miles away and there are several other honda dealers on my way to them. As for negative reviews on google, I am not sure about other employees as I haven't talked to them that much, but Carlos DaSilva never pressured me into buying anything or buying more than I wanted. And I appreciate that. More
