November 19, 2011: I found a 2009 Honda Civic Coupe on the RT. 23 Honda website, after emailing the dealer in reference to the vehicle with no response I decided to take a ride over, fingers crossed that the RT. 23 Honda website, after emailing the dealer in reference to the vehicle with no response I decided to take a ride over, fingers crossed that the car was still available. Greeted by Rolando at the door, I showed him the ad. He took in inside and came back with "unfortunate" news; the car was already sold. Disappointed, and ready to leave he took the opportunity to show us another Civic, similar to the one I was interested in, but with a higher price tag. Working & going to school full time, and paying for it myself, I knew I couldn't afford a $19,000 car. He insisted I take it for a test drive, and I'm glad I did. Of course, I fell in love with the car. He took my father & I inside to "talk numbers". He worked out a deal that worked for me and that I was comfortable with. Rolando and Joe worked with me and helped me to finally have the car I've been wanting. The next day the airbag light popped up on my dashboard. I made an appointment with Rt. 23 Honda service to drop off my car on Friday (11/25/11). Thinking it was just the sensor, I was expecting to have my car back later that day. Unfortunately, I got a call that it was something that needed a new part ordered and they wouldn't be able to order it until Monday, but that my car would be done by Wednesday the latest. Tuesday rolls around & still no word from Honda, so I call and they say it's taking them atleast a week to get the part. Really? Ever heard of overnight express shipping??? .. so today is Friday (12/2), a week after my car's been dropped off and still no word. My cars been in the service department longer than I've actually gotten to drive it. All in all, I'm very pleased with Rolando, Joe & the sales department at Rt. 23 Honda. The service department, not so much. I just want my car back already ... Hoping to have a better experience with the service department in the future, if needed. More
Working with Chris and Carlos was a very good experience. Chris assured me that I would be in and out and found me a perfect preowned car. Second...to get a light bulb replaced (car is certified, why should I bother)...that being said, I SHOULD have bothered...it took over an hour to replace the rear license plate bulb and check the terminal connection...an HOUR!! They had to get the SERVICE MGR to look into it...I CANNOT understand why it took an hour to check a terminal and replace a light bulb! Third...went to get an additional master key and valet key...excellent service by Poppy. In closing, my experience has been mixed so far. Great sales experience but a mixed service experience. More

The car was prepped, we went through finance and the total deal only took one and a half hours. Amazing!! In and out without the stress of hours of waiting and hassle free. Who would have thought that a car dealership could run so efficiently. Next they might even deliver. My wife and I are enthusiastically reccomending Route 23 Hinda, and especially Jery and Braulio, to our friends and family. I first would like to say that i am giving a good review of Rt 23 Honda greatly in part of Frank Gingerelli , he helped make my online purchase very easy and at a good price.I flew into NJ from Pittsburgh a of Rt 23 Honda greatly in part of Frank Gingerelli , he helped make my online purchase very easy and at a good price.I flew into NJ from Pittsburgh and Frank even picked me up at the airport,he was very professional.The only issue I had with the dealership is the finance department they did not give me a very good interest rate,I go a rate 2 1/2 points lower on my own, so i am going to refinance the loan. Overall I enjoyed my experience at this dealer, just do your homework so you don't pay more interest than you have to. More

I found a 2006 honda ridgeline online in which i loved. The problem was it was located 2.5 hours from my home. When responding to the ad online i was contacted from Rolando. Rolando from the start was down to earth and a straight forward guy. He was a pleasure to work with throughout the buying process. After speaking with him and trusting in his word, I made the purchase on the vehicle before i ever seen it, I did not want to make the trip to jersey twice. Rolando insisted not to buy it before I drove it, but he also informed me it was a stunning vehicle in great shape for a good price. Now that I own the vehicle I have him to thank for his honest words and for working on getting the price to my level of affordablity. To some it up, hes a great guy and not your typical "car salesman". More
