Drove away same day with my new car thanks to RT 23 Honda ! Called RT 23 Honda last week cause they said they could def get me approved for a used car that was in my budget range. I knew I have not so good credit but I work a full time job and desperately needed a vehicle that could get me to my job in Westchester new York and u currently live in Orange NJ. My commute to work for the last year had been public transportation. NJT to Penn station to the 1,2, or 3 and shuttle trains to get to grand central terminal to get to metro north. My travel everyday was 2 hrs to work and 2 hrs home also costing me most of my paycheck as well. So Thursday August 11 I had my appointment to go over my approval. When when I first walked into the dealership I never expected to be able to walk out the dealership with a very nice used 2011 Mitsubishi Eclipse Spyder sport because I didn't have great credit to finance a vehicle. Jeffrey Beck and Edwin Mendez both work very hard to get me my auto finance and had me walk out that door in my brand new car with an affordable payment. I recommend if you have bad credit no credit whatever kind of credit go to Route 23 Honda speak with Jeffrey Beck and Edwin Mendez and I'm very sure they can get you out that door with your own used vehicle. Recall on my vehicle for airbags When I received my vehicle , I open the glove box and my usb car charger was missing. It saids when you bring your car for service to remove your personal valuables. I decided let me to just put it in the glove box. I left my car to get repaired worst places in the middle of the hood of paterson and nothing ever missing. The sign should say our employees steal so make sure you take your xxxx. My last vehicle purchase was 12 years ago, and I have never owned a Honda, so there were many features of the vehicle that Luis was more than happy to explain. He really knew the vehicle inside and out, how to operate every single feature, and he answered my questions at every turn. Throughout the process, I felt that my husband and I had his full attention. He handled the necessary paperwork efficiently, then handed us off to Scott in finance who did a great job of going over the numbers with us and handling his end of things pleasantly and quickly as well. There were no surprises when it came time to review the paperwork, and within a matter of hours our beautiful new van was sparkling and ready to drive home. The dealership itself was clean and comfortable as well, with a pleasant waiting area for service. Bought a lemon. Very unhappy with the seats and the Service When car was 3 weeks old needed new parts which took 2 weeks in rental. Since purchased in 2013 the car has needed brakes, 4 new tires, battery and starter. The car wouldn't start I took it in for service 3 times they couldn't decide what the problem was so they gave me a starter which the charged me around $700.00. I bring the car home and the next morning the car wouldn't start so they came and jumped started it and put a new battery in it and didn't charge me. So basically they charged me &700.00 for a new battery. I have a new starter which I didn't need. Manager said to me didn't you ever hire a plumber and the made a mistake. She was not helpful and rather rude. Very poor experience there. More
